Great Sermon! Thank you Mr Hellar for the message I feel like I am that infant who fell into a raging river and needed somebody to dive in and rescue me and to see the consolation of Israel by picking up Christ if that could be possible and holding Him in my arms close to my bosom peace and safety to you and your family in Papua New Guinea as you show forth the gospel to those people’s
Great Sermon! I sat under this man's preaching and it was good to hear him again tonight. Pastor Harman passed away a few years ago and the church now does not preach the gospel of grace. Please pray if God enables you that Christ may return to Jacumba Hot Springs California that He might come by this way again with the gospel as we so desperately need it in our little town. Thank you
Wonderful message The message Joe delivered here is exactly what I’ve been struggling with and brought great clarity and hope to me as I have thought much about what he spoke here in this message.
Voices of the 20th Century In my opinion the greatest voices of the true gospel I have heard of the 20th Century are Rolf Barnard and Henry Mahan and are the true gospel preachers that the present day grace preachers of today have been greatly benefited from. Give a listen it may also benefit your soul.
Sanctification Hebrews 10:9-10 and 14. Verse 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the FIRST, that he may establish the SECOND.
Verse 10 By the which will we are SANCTIFIED through the OFFERING of the BODY of Jesus Christ ONCE for all.
Verse 14 For by ONE OFFERING he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER THEM that are SANCTIFIED.
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
If you are a believer, a true child of God, born-again, you are TOTALLY SANCTIFIED period by the work Christ performed on the cross as He was made sin for us. The teaching of Progressive Sanctification is a false teaching adding that you must continually/ ongoingly Progressively sanctify your flesh which is a Work that can never be completed in this life and in the flesh. Christ did not come and die to perfect the flesh of men and women that God gave Him but rather died that we might have Christ's Spirit living in us hence being born again. Read John chapter 3 to understand what Christ came to save.
