True faith is the gift of God. Eph 2:8.
"Men love darkness rather than light" Thus as the true Christian observes the Roman Catholics love their counterfeit Christ and the darkness which is demonstrated by their idolatry and heresy.

Don't forget John 2Peter 2:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."
The Roman Catholic organisation does not worship the true Christ nor the true God. The RCC priests popes and cardinals are false teachers. Thus many followers of the Vatican cult follow their pernicious ways and the idolatrous counterfeit religion.
