Great sermon! Thanks for opening the way to Christ, to show that there is no exlusion on His side for hell worthy sinners. To show Christ willigness, accessibility, availability, as the Author, giver, great worker, great Savior and that so easy by just submit, entrust, fled, accept and be on the feets of Jesus. |

Christopher000 wrote: Hello...this question is for anyone: when you pray for secular leaders, most of whom, I would venture to guess, are not born again Christians, what, or how do you pray for them exactly? I know God said He appoints them but I assume it's to fulfill His will moving towards the end and not because they belong to Him, etc. I've tried praying for them on many occasions, but am always at a loss since they are not exactly filled with His Spirit, etc. So...what exactly do you ask when praying for them? To make wise decisions? Praying for a sinner is the same whatever job they do on earth. Praying for them is asking God's intervention and Christ's mediation in their personal lives unto salvation. 1Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; THAT **WE** MAY LEAD A quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." Abigail, JD, Yamil, Michael, Discerning Believer."It is important to recognise, however, that all are liable to sins of this sort and indeed of every sort. No one is immune. We may say with Hazael: “Is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing?” (2 Ki 8:13), but we are warned, “Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall” (1 Cor 10:12). Robert Murray M‘Cheyne said “I am tempted to think that there are some sins for which I have no natural taste, such as strong drink, profane language, etc, so that I need not fear temptation to such sins. This is a lie – a proud, presumptuous lie. The seeds of all sins are in my heart, and perhaps all the more dangerously that I do not see them.” The way into sinful practices is often gradual. One fall into sin leads on to another; and where lust is indulged, it increases." (FPC Mag) |
