Affusion is the correct method of the Biblical baptism of infants who were the children of covenanted parents.

Have you noticed Mike how Arminian philosophy always forgets to factor in sin and its effect upon the mortal.

Not my fault if your history is distorted. You might want to change your moniker as you don't have anything from the Scriptures to back up your views. Especially because affusion was never found in Scripture, always meant to dip, to dunk, to immerse. Why do think they transliterated the word? Because to translate it would have done away with their unbiblical practice. But alas, I know it is futile to try and show you this, maybe God will be gracious and open your eyes and heart to the truth.

2. "“The organization of our denomination (Baptist) began in the last grand transitional age, in the Protestant Reformation. In that transition we were far to the front, on the skirmish line. We were the radicals of radicals. Of the three great reformers—Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli—Zwingli was the most radical, so that Luther and Melanchton were anxious to disavow the Anabaptists. The first great creed of the Lutheran Church, The Augsburg Confession, point by point makes it clear that the Lutheran party would have nothing to do with Anabaptists. The epoch-making theology of Calvinism, Calvin’s Institutes of the Christian Religion was first written to prove to the King of France that the Protestants were good people and had nothing to do with such extremists as the Anabaptists. When the Baptist movement was in its cradle...."etc! (Chester Tulga)
