Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord...The U.S. honors God with their lips but their hearts are far from Him. Where was God, the only true God, at the Inaugaration? God will not share His glory with the false gods. Why do they praise God for Obama as President? Surely God has given the people what they desired. Apart from repentance, the nation as a whole will not see that what they have asked for is the judgement of God to be turned into the curse of God on our nation. I expect Obama to be a 2 termer... The blindness is very great. Cursed is the nation who forgets God |

One commentor here says that this is O.K. so long as we do not bow to it and worship it. First of all, do we even know what Jesus looks like? No. This is a false image. Secondly, is our Savior thought of as we look upon this image made in chocolate? If so, then we have bowed down to it as we would and should the true Christ. Thirdly, is this to promote our faith in Christ, using it as a tool for the spread of the Gospel? If, so, then we have promoted a false Christ. If we so much as give thanks for all Christ has done for us by looking upon this edible image or any image, we are offering worship. This is no trite matter. How many complain about this chocolate "Jesus" yet have an image of the false Christ hanging in a frame on our walls? Or have statues and other "jesus" junk? If one can have those images then one need not be upset over this. They are all sacriligious. Anything that symbolizes our faith and causes us to praise God, apart from the Scriptures, is not right in God's sight. We still have golden calves among Christians that must be destroyed. |

First thought that came to my mind upon reading the title of this article: Isaiah 3. I think of that every time our society lets the unregenerate influence what is truth. My husband works for the public school system. We get the bottom-of-the-birdcage magazine, NEA Today. We also get their insurance offers, one of which covers teachers specifically for student violence done against them. Yep, there's demented children in the public school system when it comes to this type of insurance being needed. And, we received that offer ten years ago. As per the need for Calvinists to repent for coming under the name of a man, O.K., but so also must the Arminians. I prefer the debate to be about election/free will. As for me, my confidence is not in a prayer I've prayed, nor in my choosing Christ Jesus, but in that God, the Father drew me to His Son. No matter the side of the debate, there is no salvation apart from obedience to God's Word. It is not about works for salvation, but because of it. |

No need to persuade those of us who do not celebrate the christianized pagan holidays of Christmas and Easter! It is to us an admixture that is not required in the scriptures. Communion is only required and is celebratory of Christ's life, death and resurrection. And, no, I don't wish for anyone to worship a god. I want everyone to know God, the only true God, and His Son, Jesus Christ, whom He sent. For in this is eternal life! |
