Totally untrue: The church wants more babies to be born, more people, more of everything.
Have they ever thought about quality instead? How about better care for the babies? Can these babies grow up to be better citizens than be pot-babies? Can the mothers (and fathers) support them?
The reason for the recent drop in "baby making" is that the originally gullible people, who have been shackled by the church have broken free and are trying to lead better lives (than be slaves of the church).
the church should probably look into mending its disgusting affairs like meddling with AIDS vaccines availability, pedofiles inside the church and its opposition to homo-sexual(s), opposition to minorities, opposition to science and technology etc, before poking its nose elsewhere.
