You really have to get rid of this modern ideology of PreMillennialism and the Disney cartoon of Rapture - AND get back to the Bible.

You answered your own question. Only the sheep will HEAR and RESPOND to the gospel. To the goats it is death, therefore not good news. I think we are splitting hairs. Of course we preach to ALL, but, ultimately, the gospel is for the sheep.

If what I posted doesn't fit into your mold is irrelevant. I've stated the gospel, know Christ has saved me, a very wretched person and will continue to pursue Him until He gathers me home. Likewise, as He has enabled me, will do my part in advancing His kingdom, doctrine and all.

Theological doctrine is not separated from the gospel because it is referred to in that manner. The gospel IS Christ came down to save His people from deserved damnation, according to the supreme law of God. We cannot cleanse ourselves, but need a Redeemer to do so, even more; we need a substitute who can fulfill the law of perfectedly. Christ is that man because he IS God. If you hear his voice, you shall repent and will be saved. Not according to your repentance, mind you, but because of the sweet calling of Grace that has granted you repentance. Fall on your knees without hesitation and receive that which was granted you before the foundation of the world. Christ be praised.

The gospel is for the lost sheep and not the goats, right? God KNOWS who are his, right? Never did I post NOT to preach the gospel. What I have repeatedly posted is it is God who has determined who are his sheep and who are not. That is unadulerated biblical truth. Those who have ears to HEAR will necessarily HEAR the Sheperd's calling. Yes, through preaching. This notion that ALL can be saved and will be disciples is unfounded. Who's in hell if "ALL" is universal and not particularly God's called out saints? Distortion manifests when we place salvific suspense found in finite men above the sovereign, eternal will of God.

Read my post before you respond next time. The Gospel, not MY gospel, is Christ came to save sinners, which I am chief. But, I am certain that I despised God, did not seek Him,would rather seek my glory, pleasure, and gain than serve him UNTIL he, in time and space what he determined to do in eternity, quickened me. CHRIST,CHRIST, CHRIST is the gospel. I seek, now, because I was SOUGHT. Man can only boast in what has been granted,not earned.

You're missing the point...I do not have a Gospel, that honor is Christ's. ALL are born into sin, yesx but ONLY the sheep will repond and accept what has happened to them. This phrasing of man must this and must that, disconnected from the sovereign choice and predetetmined will of God, is nothing more than the vain, romantic jangling of men. I am a sheep because I was MADE one, not because I chose to become one. You're hasty judgment is rather unbecoming of a professing brother in Christ.

The gospel is for the sheep, not the goats. It's a calling out of those who God has shed His grace upon, hence the greek term ekklesia. We are not seeking the general lost, but the sheep who are lost, when we present the gospel. How much more clearer does the scripture need to be? Christ, when soeaking to the religious, pious folk, told them his sheep HEAR his voice. The pharisees didn't because their father was the devil. Stop trying to romanticize man' s part and embrace the totality of God's work in salvation. "Before the foundation of the world" God determined who were his sheeo and who were goats. The salvific suspense rests in man's mind, not God's.

No ONE comes to Father, lest he is drawn. NO ONE seeks God. My sheep hear my voice. He who has eyes to see and ears to hear.
Sorry folks, there is no emphasis on our making a decision or crying out to God; but God's sovereign choice and grace compels us to do both. Either you are dead or alive, no middle, free will, ground. Give God the glory and leave the will worship to pagans and free wheeling, willing baptists.

I think Chuck Colson, who I respected, when comes to the joining hands with Catholics against abortion. I cannot approve the ecumenical move toward some form of doctrinal tolerance, but am held by conscience to criticize any movement against abortion. With that said, the danger still remains, even in that situation, to succumb to doctrinal tolerance. I agree with your statements concerning certain "evangelical" missions and fluff Christian music.

But LOVE does certainly hate evil...ALL evil, like presumption, bearing false witness, hypocrisy, and judging whether others are saved or not. You have called me blind, others said I do not have the Spirit based SOLELY on selective interpretation and presumption. I am not catholic, ecumenical, or blind (Anne). I am pointing out the inclination of some to reign fire from above on the RCC, as if their doctrinal robes were unblemished. To accuse me falsely, so as to belabor your own points, betrays your borderline hypocrisy. I understand that Catholicism is the MAIN issue, but attempting to shut down someone else who is trying to ballast the ship is remarkably setting up a double standard. This forum has already gone off topic (Nancy Pelosi!) so why is it your position is the only one that should mentioned or the sole focus?
