Why the Disciple's Failure?
Frank Jones

“ What an encouragement! ”
100% agree with the understanding demonstrated from the text, Mark 9;28-29, which is such an abused text with man at the center. If we take casting a mountain into the sea literally (I do) because we generally make that passage about "My faith" most of the sermons Ive heard (have to) make the mountain something more "Attainable" for us. The mountain of stress, yhe mountain of trouble at work, the mountain of family problems etc. Where, if mountain casting is literal then the passage Can't be about me & what I can do but about Christ's faithfulnes to The Father, His power, His authority and His ability etc. Pastor Jones demonstrates that Mark does not stray from his stated purpose for writing this book, and it isn't about us, but the Good News of Jesus who is The Christ, the Son of God.

“ Great Sermon. But possibly plagairized ”
This was a nice succinct and helpful sermon. However, I wonder if he got his main points from John MacArthur sermon on the same text.

A lot going on this week and I needed this reminder to my weary soul. Trials bring me to all seeing and all knowing God's feet. "... And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold , the tabernacle of God is with them and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and God Himself be with them and be their God....." Rev. 21:3-4 Thank you brother Lyons may God bless you and your family and your ministry In Christ

“ Great Sermon! ”
"Thou with Thy hand didst drive out the nations, and didst plant them in; Thou didst break the peoples, and didst spread them abroad. For not by their own sword did they get the land in possession, neither did their own arm save them; but Thy right hand, and Thine arm, and the light of Thy countenance, because Thou wast favourable unto them." Psalm 44:3-4 One of my life verses it's anchor for my soul. This is the only sermon I found (on psa.44:3-4) in SermonAudio! Thank you Rev. Marshall God bless you all In Him
