Christopher I grew up on a farm and my dad always said it was for city folk. He said them there was still daylight for them to play golf after work.

Amen S C. No doubt he's never left. And he is infiltrating multitudes of other "churches". We must do the work of God while it is day, the night is surely upon us! What a magnificent day to live in as we see the Word of God coming to pass all around us. The children of God don't need to wring their hands in despair, these are exciting times. The fields are white unto harvest but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth laborers into the harvest. Let's be sure to be bringing some sheaves with us. Who is on the Lord's side?

Christopher000,

I am praying God opens your wife's eyes. It's a horrible trap she's in. My parents and brothers are still in it. The more faithful I became as a born again child of God the deeper they went into darkness. Their priests can tell them anything and they believe it. The power of darkness is strong but not as strong as our Lord Jesus Christ.

Etymology is great but follow common usage of the word today by "churches" and it means something that bestows grace.
Sacrament is sacrilege, I agree.

What is the point of this "project"? This is christianized Disneyland garbage.

The point is evangelism and biblical creation being taught to millions of students that will come through who have been taught that evolution is a fact.

Knights of Columbus is a dark order like freemasonry but it is exclusive to Catholics. The Knights help in dedicating buildings and stuff too. More costume and pomp. It's all secretive.

I was reared Catholic and my dad was a member of the Knights. I remember looking at his magazines. They always had an ad on the back cover about becoming a priest. Even as a lost soul in their system I knew it was wrong…one of the reasons they gave for considering the priesthood was if you were unsure of your sexual orientation. You know they teach it's not a sin to be a sodomite, only the act is sinful. ??

“ A Blessing from God ”
This message is food for my spirit. The preeminent thing in all of ministry is to love Jesus Christ. Thank you for the adjustment of focus!

“ Thank you! ”
Thank you for your continued faithfulness and trust in the one true God. Indeed, what God views as success are radically contrary to what the foolish world views as. We thank God for His manifold mercies upon us, whom He can easily zap and destroy anytime. But He loves us and are long suffering towards us. Let us daily remember and recognize His grace and offer up our lives to glorify Him in return.

Well to start with the "pastor" shouldn't be ruling over the flock..its unbiblical...and getting police involved..he appears to be some kind of dictator...and if everyone leaves the church because the "pastor" dictates it what kind of " church" would we end up with..? I agree with John Lincoln 3 John 1 too many people in leadership today love themselves...Jesus taught us to love his church...with all its faults and failings..and this lady is 103 ...what kind of love is this towards her and the others? I'm not saying she's right in everything but the pastor can't be a dictator....it smells radical to me...and not of the Holy Spirit.

Why would Dr. Jason Allen invite a Dispensationalist to preach at a lecture Series called Spurgeon Lectures. Spurgeon would have publically censored John MacArthur's Dispensational theology as heresy. Enough said!

“ Like A Sword To My Heart! ”
I thank God for Brother Paul.. for preaching so blatantly and honestly, yet so lovingly about the terrible condition of Christians at this age. Truly, a life not dedicated fully to Christ, is simply dead. May this sermon bring glory and honor to our Christ who was crucified, died and risen!

tokyojim,
Thank you. You don't have to read very many comments to see the ultra-critical spirit of most of the readers, but you're dealing with Calvinist or so called "Reformed" theologians who believe any work is a waste of time despite what the Bible says.

I don't worry about best sellers, take a look at some other best sellers... Most of the stories are morbid and evil!

I think we who are Christians should focus on our mission, and that is to love and help those in the world, not by protesting everything like the pagans do but with Love!

Let's get back to basics and work harder at being Christ like and Christ minded. I see many Christians misquoting scripture for their own personal use... Let's act like Christians and praise God for his Grace, then those who see us, may wonder what we have and ask. Then we can share the wonderful news.

And lastly remember this... we shouldn't expect non-christians to behave like Christians. Let's do our part and let God do the rest.

As I went back and read the article again, I didn't see the emphasis on social programs so much as outreach in general. After 16 years in ministry I see pastors wanting to maintain what they have because it is comfortable rather than fulfilling the Great Commission. We need to do more than put a sermon title on the marquee and expect them to come in if we are going to reach the world.

While reading through the Gospels it seems to be a recurring theme of Jesus meeting a physical need and then meeting a spiritual need. Like the old saying, "They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."
