And - as the Emirakans progress into the pit, I see a warning to Christians living in America, and elsewhere - that the typical American Christian's view of America itself must change - that contrary to the popular Christian eschatology of the past century, America IS indeed mentioned in Bible prophecy; that in fact, what was once called the land of the free and home of the brave; what was once called America the Beautiful - has become America the Babylon - and is in fact the last days Babylon described in Revelation chapter 18, also referred to in Jeremiah ch. 50 as the daughter of Babylon -
Pastor Sam Adams on SA proposed&proved that as such - as the daughter of Babylon - America is in fact the daughter of the true mother that gave her birth; which is not Britain as many believe. John Yurich USA wrote:
Why should conservative Catholics be excommunicated from the Catholic Church when they are against abortion, homosexuality, homosexual marriage and artificial birth control, all of which if supported should be the only grounds for excommunication from the Catholic Church?
Ya know John,

Don't you think that it is about time to identify with the universal, catholic, Body of Christ instead of always exalting the RCC?

Either you are a Christian or not. What I say to you I say also to all denominations. Either we are one or not. The foot cannot say to the head "I have no need of thee."

Where two or three are gathered in the name (character, nature, essence) of Christ reveals that he dwells among his redeemed.

Psalm 133 says that there is a commandment of life evermore. The unsaved are brought to life according to the principles Christ taught in John 17. It is the principle of unity. The world will know who Christ is.

Or perhaps John, your intention is to see if posters pass the test of knowing scripture and the truth of salvation, and to make sure the Word of God is not polluted with false teaching of any sort.

Test questions are presented in many forms to know if the one taking it is anchored in fact

Amen and Amen.
Yep,

this and a whole lot of man-made inventions replace the role of the Holy Spirit revealing to Christians (and the unsaved ) what God desires of his creatures.

Hearken to our Lord's words Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; (John 16:7-10).

Furthermore, God does not speak to us through trees, candles, rosaries, snake dancing, doing alms before man, long prayers etc.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2

We just keep walking in the flesh instead of the spirit.

Lurker,

Don't be ridiculous.

Of this he spoke to me and I am sure - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

I am a partaker of his flesh and he of mine:
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:15

Believeth thou this, Lurker?

I have tasted the honey from the mouth of the Lord and it is satisfyingly sweet to me.

Sin is the transgression of God's law.
It is one thing to have a strong opinion about something but when you say "Thus saith the Lord" when He has not spoken, you elevate your opinion above God's word.
Dangerous territory you tread.
So I guess we can do away with these words in scripture.

...come out from among them, and be separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you, 2 Cor 6:17

AND Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God Jms 4:4

AND Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh Gal 5:16,
AND For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world 1 Jn 2:16,

AND Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth Col 3:2,

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, Ps 2:1-2

Do you really mean that the Creator of all things, the one who said "before Abraham, I was," the one is was, is and is to come, did not know that man would vote? Or do you mean that it was not practiced?

Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Zech 4:6

Do you think God has changed and is not the same today, yesterday, and forever; and does not mean for us to “come out from among them and I will receive you unto myself?”

The LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 1 Sam 8:7. Pilate listened to the voice of the people. Jesus was crucified. Are Christian voters among the people?

O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Gal 3:1

There has not been one created being who has brought about the righteousness of God to a nation. So are we like the Galatians adding something to the work only Christ has and will accomplish?

Catholics use icons. Christians use the ballot.

When did Trump become a believer? Does 98% sound like a real number to you? As for Fact Check, it is a project of the Annenberg Foundation. Their photography project is presently involved with this, from their website:
"Conceived to illuminate the breakthroughs of marginalized communities, IDENTITY: Timothy Greenfield-Sanders The List Portraits is comprised of 151 uniquely compelling large-format photographs of pioneers in five distinct-but-often-overlapping groups. Each installment (The Black List, The Latino List, The Women’s List, The Out List and The Trans List"
Now there's some God honoring going on there isn't there? Sounds like divide the groups and conquer, and simultaneously include the perverse. Maybe they have other reason to oppose Trump than "facts." Maybe they want Clinton to win. Hmmm.
Then do your own research into past positions of each candidate. You'll probably find that he did not tell the truth about 99% of the questions. Also, it might be that tomorrow he'll say that the 1% was a fault of the microphone. Or, one of his surrogates will say that the answer he gave, the one seemingly true, was not what he really meant.

This payout is clearly "hush money." This is the kind of reporting pastors should do from the pulpit so parents can shout from the housetops that their children are being duped, and that they are paying to have their children remain ignorant.

The Fact Check disclosed that Trump did not tell the truth about 98% of the questions asked last evening.

Now, again, when will the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be God-honoring?

Most here know there's no such thing as a sinless candidate, I don't think any are looking for such a person.
What many need to understand is- that God gives wicked leadership as judgment; when a nation is vile and wicked as America is, why should we expect leadership that is any different? Trump may not be as dangerous as Clinton, but then again, he may be worse. Both candidates are frightening, but we have to look past that and consider the real problem, and it isn't political.
America is seeped in sin, in false Christianity, in shallow preaching. Goats posing as sheep, methods added to the Gospel that make it null and void. Doctrine ignored and Christians having a half inch-deep grip on truth. There is a famine in the land, a famine of biblical truth. There is no power in much of the preaching, lukewarmness permeates many churches. Being busy in activities but lacking understanding in truth does not make disciples of Christ.
As Calvin rightly stated, "For since a wicked prince is the Lord’s scourge to punish the sins of the people, let us remember, that it happens through our fault that this excellent blessing of God is turned into a curse."
And Christians are sinning by not separating from the world system

Clinton is wrong but Trump is not wrong. Anybody who is against Trump is doing Satan's bidding and will be responsible for the judgment of God to descend upon this nation if Clinton gets in the White House.
John, who said give me your child from one to five and I'll have him the rest of his life? Rudy Giuliani, a Trump surrogate, supports Roe v Wade. Hope you can discern what I'm aiming for.

Yes, both are flawed like all men.

Why are we looking for the perfect man? God sent, sent, his son who was perfect; having no sin principle in his flesh. PERFECT. Going about doing good. Not living in partiality - loving one while hating another. Here to do the will of the Father; who is holy and just in all his ways.

Yet man didn't want him. They crucified him.

Does man really know what he wants? Other than to live as though he himself is god? His heart is deceitfully wicked and changes at every whim and fancy. Only God knows the hearts of his created beings.

Man cannot know perfection and does not want perfection and needs the Grace of God to recognize perfection; lest he dies. With the infusion of the spirit of God he seeks it. He will find it in the God-man alone.

Thanks Christopher000.

ALL that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16

We are adulterers and adulteresses to say the least.

Are we Christians seeking the will of God with sincerity? Or, have we become so caught up with the desires of this present evil age?

Man's breath is in his nostrils. His entire existence is in one breath whether through inhalation or exhalation. Nevertheless, we need to redeem the time for the days are evil. Yet we spend more time scrutinizing politics and criticizing candidates than getting to know God and his plan for evangelizing the lost.

For believers it is not enough to hear about the Lamb, nor have one in the house as a pet. We need to examine the Lamb and see if there is any spot. God's Lamb had none.

Ironically, we are looking for the perfect candidate; one having not spot. As for me, I take Jesus. There is not spot to be found in him.

May he fill us with his spirit of truth.

Lurker, I'll go high; to the city of the great King. As for Jim, I'll regard him as better than myself.

Christians should know what is and what is not of God: For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? … things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. These candidates have the spirit of the world, not the spirit which is of God 1 Cor 2:11-12.

Do they sound like believers; pleasing God which works in the believer both to will and to do of his good pleasure? Philip 2:13

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, … but … my kingdom not from hence Jn 18:36

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, friendship of the world is enmity with God. Whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the ENEMY of God Jas 4:1-4

ALL that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16

Is there any word from the LORD?

Voting is vain.

First of all, let me state I am NOT a supporter of Trump. Now with that said, how is it that you paint him more vile that Clinton? Have you forgotten about Benghazi? The loss of life caused by negligence isn't vile in your book? Or what about the e-mail scandal? Her lying and deceit are better than Trump's?
It's mind boggling how some here will try and exalt Clinton above Trump, as though EITHER are worthy to lead this country.
Yes, Trump is a sick man, he is dead in trespasses and sin. However, so is Hillary Clinton. Either way, America is doomed regardless of who gets the nod.
I am bewildered that anyone would try to exalt one dead in sin sinner over the other. Trump's derogatory remarks towards women are nothing any wealthy man hasn't thought or said, including Bill Clinton. I won't link to the article that I read because of the vileness of the content, but I will state what the article said, Hillary is bisexual. If this is true, how is that better than Trump's degrading view of women? Depravity is depravity, whether it's sexual in nature or otherwise.
American needs intercessory prayer and NOT debates over who is the 'better' sinner. We need a Jonah.
I should have said surrogates.

Though I disagree with him on most things pertaining to reality, I have to agree with Michael Moore when he stated that Trump " is a human Molotov cocktail."
Wow 1517! That's some right on description.

With that, we need to take heed and head for bunkers.

Imagine what foreign dignitaries would do if he handled discussions (if he'd get beyond the first) as he does with Americans who oppose him. He has no respect.

I believe he is a sick man. He does not want to get to truth. He does not want to be confronted with facts. He does not seek resolution and is unyielding. It would be hard to change his mind where there is error.
Risky for USA.

Now Joe,

I have to repeat - Bill is not running this race. Melania, or whatever her name is, is not running either.

I am on the side of righteousness and desire to lead a quiet life.

However, I do believe Hillary is qualified. Also, she might verbalize her position in support of wickedness. But take a look at Donald's constituency and get facts on their positions as well. You'll be shocked to find they share Hillary's views on wickedness.

Besides, women should wake up and realize they are nothing but pawns and guinea pigs. Guinea pigs. Yes I said it. They are merchandize for greedy, lust (in the broader sense) driven men, and now greedy women. Even men have female souls. Weaklings. Void of good sound thinking. I am generalizing. Now those having the mind of Christ proclaim, "There is a God in heaven, He will bless us and rule."

The next generation will twice as vulnerable to the wiles of the devil and whims of fallen men. Voting causes them to look to man.

The first major political story I took note of as a child was the Clinton/ Lewinsky scandal and subsequent impeachment proceedings. I learned two things from listening to the Adults discuss what was going on:
A. If a man can’t be trusted to uphold his Marriage Vows, then he can’t be trusted to uphold the Oath of Office.
B. Once a man has abused his power, position, or authority, he should not continue in that position, let alone be given more power.
It is hypocritical for the liberal media to howl over Trump when they minimized Bill Clinton’s sin.
It’s been instructive to watch Christians who howled over Clinton minimize Trump’s sin.
Please keep in mind that it is not Bill Clinton campaigning for office. It is Hillary. She is steadfast.

Her opponent loves to demean and hurt people. He has to know how Bill's infidelity hurt this woman. What he did is immoral. He is disrespectful.

On the side, why are they getting the same questions? It is insane to think the answers will change. Its like waterboarding - keep it up until the victim confesses guilt to the accusations.

Christians should be ashamed voting for someone who attempts to make only himself look good.
