Great Sermon! In answer to Adolfo's question - yes, I DO believe that abortion is resulting in millions of babies entering heaven. This is an extremely emotive subject that I know divides people, but whilst the whole concept of abortion is clearly wrong, and very wrong, God in His mercy I believe overcomes that dreadful sin of mankind, by redeeming such little ones to Himself, in order that He gets the glory. As Frank Warren says further down, of course, we will only know the full situation once we too arrive on the golden shore, but I am sure there will be many surprises awaiting us when we arrive ! |

Thanks Lyn - I appreciate your comment.Well, here's an update on Graham's situation:- His Appeal with the Norfolk Chief Constable was not successful, although well argued, so his dismissal currently still stands. However, his next Appeal is going to be lodged with the Norfolk Police Appeals Tribunal, and I will know soon hopefully, when that will be held, and if there is anyone you can contact to make your voice heard. Many, many thanks for all the support so far. Nigel |

Guys, guys, guys....This thread has gone seriously off track, however genuine the varying comments are. Please, please, please could you continue these discussions on another thread, or start one for this subject? I was merely asking for support for Pc Graham Cogman on here, not a full blown discussion on homosexuality... Many thanks. |

Please pray for Graham Cogman and his family.I have been to see them at home, and they are truly devastated by his treatment by Norfolk Police. All he has really done is to object to being asked to first wear a pink ribbon in 2006 in honour of Gay History Month, and then to wearing a rainbow ribbon in 2008, pointing to an American website which explained the Rainbow Covenant and its significance to Christians. For this and standing up for the tenets of Christianity, he has been terribly villifed, and forced out of his job, for which he has previously been commended. His Appeal is being heard by his Chief Constable Mr Ian McPherson on 6th January 2009. May I urge you to email Mr McPherson on [email protected] to register your objection to the way in which Mr Cogman has been treated and to urge Mr McPherson to overturn the decision to dismiss Mr Cogman and to reinstate him as a Policeman. Please do this urgently, as time is of the essence. Many thanks. |

Great Sermon! What a wonderful reminder of the great mercy that our saving God has for all sinners, even murderers!
May we all be stirred to pray for our land - for peace, and a revival of Gospel preaching, and a return to godly, biblical living - and may we all pray for our leaders, even for Martin McGuinness, who as this sermon points out, can still be saved, as the Apostle Paul was.
Oh, what a great witness that would be to the saving grace of God, if one with such a stain of sin on his hands as McGuiness, were to be saved eternally !
Keep praying for Ulster and remember us too in England, as we live in dark times. |
