for that guy. I know that there are many husband out there, who love his wife so much, but can't do like this. I hope next time the flight attendance will notice and helps him find another seat. And I hope this is a real story, internet is full of lie though.
Great Sermon! This makes a good argument for exclusive psalmody. Because there are a lot of popular hymns these days that aren't biblical, aren't relevant, or else they're anemic. Thanks Pastor Hey.
I havent been to a seeker friendly church. I have no desire for them. When i was looking for a church i needed the Word to be taught. Foundational teaching of doctrine and of course the Gospel being preached at every service and bible study. I like hymns and psalms not tje modern ccm music. Ccm music tends to be shallow and lacking in doctrine. Sovereign grace music is filled with doctrine theology and is Christ centered. We need to dump those mega churches and seeker friendly and get back to the basics of Jesus Christ and the Gospel. Then maybe the "Wolves in sheeps clothing" will disappear
I saw gosnell opening weekend. I wanted to see before it disappeared. The movie was really well made. The ada was fantastic. She had to deal with this horrific thing knowing that she 4 or 5 children herself. It was heart breaking. And the emotional toll the people went through. But not gosnell he was smirky and hard hearted. The film angered my husband and 16 year old son. I do recommend go see this film.
Disagree I liked your message on halloween. You said that "death is part of life" i diagree God did not create death. It is the consquence of the fall. How can God create death when He is the author of life. I am the way , THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE?" I HATE WHEN CHRISTIANS USE THAT STATEMENT BECAUSE IT IS WRONG.
Awesome Sermon! Somewhat accidentally, I saw the live webcast of this sermon. It is one of the best sermons I have ever heard with respect to getting guidance on an important issue for which the Bible may not give an explicit answer. In the sermon, Pastor Barkman considers whether it is necessary for a Christian to be, formally, a member of a local church, as well as closely related issues (such as church discipline). To answer these questions, he read to the congregation a number of scattered passages from various places in the NT (at least three books of the NT, maybe more, were cited). Then he made very sound and unassailable inferences from the collection of these somewhat incidental passages to get to the ultimate answer to the question of whether formal, local church membership is necessary for the Christian. In addition to getting a welcomed education on this particular issue, I also learned that knowing the Bible thoroughly, thoroughly, thoroughly is essential to understanding what we're supposed to do. Just reading little bits here and there, superficially, isn't going to give sufficient understanding for some important matters. Awesome sermon!
Masterful Sermon! In this sermon, Greg Price convincingly shows from Daniel 24-25 that the seventieth week of Daniel's seventy weeks was fulfilled during Christ's first coming. It is *not* yet to be fulfilled at Christ's second coming, as the futurists believe. Mr. Price concludes by insisting that if we are eagerly looking forward to a rebuilt temple rather than to Christ Himself, we are looking in vain. If we are looking to a financial advisor, a friend, a relative, or the government, any creature rather than the Creator Jesus Christ, to get us through the trials of this life, we look in vain.
Thoughtful Sermon This is an excellent sermon. Pastor Thomassian acknowledges the unassailable godly conduct of Billy Graham, both in his family life and finances. But the pastor painstakingly explains how grievous an error it is to join hands with Rome, which Mr. Graham certainly did. Also he quotes Mr. Graham asserting in an interview that some people who have never heard the name of Christ will be in heaven, contradicting Romans CH 10. It took courage to preach this sermon given the iconic status of Mr. Graham.
