Amen Brother Wayne!

We Christians, as Paul said, we not only need open doors, but boldness of speech!

Thank you for the verses and the encouragement.

Keep preaching the word and may God continue to use you for his glory!!!!

Brother Wayne,

We do our street preaching on Saturdays, house to house visitation on Thursdays, jail ministry on Fridays and a nursing home ministry once a month on Mondays.

One of the blessings of where we are... is these many opportunities that God has given to serve him.

It sounds the same with your area - to God be the glory!

Wayne,

How often do you preach on the street?

We have a regular/weekly street preaching ministry at our church.

We enjoy the honour of being able to preach the word in publick in our community.

Wayne,

If it helps... I have been preaching through the Gospel of John for quite some time now and recently covered the material in John 10 and taught exactly what JD has said... and we never consulted each other concerning it.

It is good that they use names like muhammed. What islamic terrorist could ever use the name Jack or Thomas. It loses its appeal.

Seaton,
It's absolutely right for the Lord Jesus Christ to use certain kinds of language in addressing a particular group of people because He is The Lord. It's quite another matter for Christians to justify themselves in insulting words like 'liar' or 'Plaster Mike' because they don't recognise another group as being truly Christian.
Jude says in verse 9 of his letter that the angel "dared not bring an abusive condemnation against him [Satan]but said, 'The Lord rebuke you'" If this is the example of angels in 'religious disputes' then surely we need to be extra careful in the kind of language we choose when disputing with people in a public forum?

Walt,I presume you're addressing me, Mark and my comments rather than Mike and his?
I take your point, if you are addressing my comments, but I still think, regardless of what kind of 'church' that 'Pastor Mike' comes from, that comments such as 'Plaster Mike' will not be the means to win someone to your viewpoint. The Bible teaches that we should correct those who we disagree with using 'courtesy and gentleness'2Tim 2 v 25.
We should also be aware that this is a global website, not an exclusively American one, and that there may be unbelievers reading these pages and true Christians should contend for the truth BUT in such a way as to be a good witness to what we believe.
That is my own final comment on this matter as I've got a sermon to listen to.

Some of the comments on this page about 'Pastor Mike'are not very edifying and are not in accordance with 'speaking the truth in love'. Some of the comments are not even speaking the truth-as revealed in Scripture. Where does it say in the Bible that 'Its ALSO wrong to sell beer - to anyone, anywhere - and we should cry out against it! Martin Luther, the great reformer drank beer BUT also preached a sermon against drunkeness, which is what the Bible clearly teaches is wrong. Pastor Mike, I also have to say that, using words like 'these stupid "news" articles' and calling people hypocrites is rather inflamatory language-even if you were provoked- and could be construed as 'angry words that stir up contention'.
Can't we express ourselves without recourse to slanging matches?

It is interesting to read the petition. Surely those oppossed to this museum can use fact to show that AIG are wrong. The petition is emotive and manipulative, hiding the truth.

RO 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

I pray that millions of children will see the Truth and that God will be glorified through this marvelous museum.

True science gathers the facts and examines them looking for truth.

AIG use the same facts as other scientist, and come up with a different answers that agree with the facts.

Though AIG can't prove God, they have certainly proved evolution completly unscientific at every level. The closest evolution comes to fact is natural selection. But natural selection comes through a loss of genetic material, not a gain. This is a scientific fact. Look at the breeding of dogs and farm animals.

Why don't they want other scientific views?

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

It should be no surprise when these things happen. Muslims are being obedient to their faith. From the Koran 8:12 "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Islam conquers by violence as commanded in the Koran (see also 9.30, 8.39, 9.123 as a few). It is not a religion of peace. Christians conquer by love. The west is largly ignorant of the teachings of Islam and would outlaw it as a terrorist organisation if they had the knowledge and courage to.

We wouldn’t dare insist on submission to an abusive husband, dad or pastor, but we demand submission to an abusive government. We’ve been insisting on a pseudo-spiritual cliche of “submitting yourselves to every ordinance of man” (1 Peter 2:13a) without realizing that it is qualified with “as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers” (1 Peter 2:14). We are obligated to submit only to that which God has instituted government for, and that is the administration of justice.

Revelations can be a difficult book to interpret correctly as it is heavily linked to Daniel chapter 7-12, in particular Daniel chapter 7 is reffering to the same beast as Revelations 13, this is also responsible for setting up the abomination that causes desolation as described here http://jesus-survival.com/Abomination-desolation.htm which essentially Revelations is reffering to.

Any church growth based on anything less than the preaching of Jesus in all his glory, as altogether desirable, as the only hope for evil man is doomed to failure.

To trick people into coming into churches on other pretences, or to look at churches which are growing numerically based on clever marketing is the begining of the end.

It is no great joy when unconverted people who have no desire for Jesus are attracted to the church and kept there under false pretences, while the glory of Christ is hidden so that we don't turn them off church.

Church growth is not the issue. Preaching of Christ in all His glory is the issue, and the true church grows - with or without guitars and drums.

Through disobedience to the scriptures the anglican church (except in Sydney Aus and some other places) has become like the cathlolic church, a cult that worships many things in competition with Jesus, the creator and sustainer of all things who purchased his church with his blood.

The Christian Martyrs were murdered by the catholic church because they chose death rather than submitting to the teachings of the Catholic church with its lies and deciet. The Catholic Church has not changed its teaching, deluding many into an eternity in hell.

The true church will never unite with the devil.

As a christian and a teacher, I am all too aware of the fact that this world hates the gospel. But Like this teacher I have sided with God and am prepared to pay the price for sharing the truth. I lost my job over it. In the west we suffer little. Paul lived in poverty, under threat of death beatings and shipwreck and whatever else and was obedient. Jesus was crushed under the hand of the father. Whatever price this teacher pays this experience will further conform Him to Christ likeness and make heaven all the more appealing. Lets fearlessly be obedient to Christ.

“ This is a real blessing! ”
Brother Washer, I heard you preach at a Men's Conference hosted by Don Currin Ministries about 3 or 4 years ago. You were a blessing then and , after listening to this message, you are still a blessing. Brother, I am truly encouraged to hear that the Lord is moving in your life and as a result others are taking notice. I was even more encouraged to hear about how this sermon has affected the students at a Canadian Christain College. You, your family, and your ministry will remain in my prayers! Lord bless you!
