Ok. Thank you for the input. I’m still not sure this is how Christ would handle it, but if you believe he would then that is obviously how you should act. I’m working through this question of what would Jesus do. I’m trying to understand the balance of Him being our example and him being holy God with the power to do things that we can’t.

I especially apologize to Dr. Tim.
I hold to the fact that I was not attacking or trying to rebuke you, however my comments were ill timed and posted as a result of long annoyance and not actually as a result of your actual post. If I wanted to post something I should not have aimed it at you. I apologize. I have seen many of your posts where you were gracious, and I apologize for taking out my annoyance with the whole situation on you. Please forgive me.

I would like to issue a public apology to all who were offended by my comments in the other post. I still believe what I said was accurate, but it wasn’t my place to say it. I have been having a rough couple of weeks and I believe I let it get to me. I’m sorry. I still believe that we should treat people in Christian love and only say things that are intended to edify. I realize that no one is perfect and while I have seen many posts from Dr. Tim that were not edifying, I’m bound to say that I have also seen many posts from him that are full of Christ’s love. If I’m wrong about the fact that we should try to act like Christ I would still like to see scripture that back it up.
Sincerely LBR14

I’m totally at a loss. If I can’t get on with other Christians? You sir are the one who has attacked my character because I didn’t instantly fall in with your unsupported views.
Again you give me no scripture you simply attack me. I have tried over and over to get someone to show me why I’m wrong but you won’t. Even if those on here aren’t saved you will never find a biblical example of Christ treating them this way.
I’m saddened. I wish I could have found encouragement or at least biblical correction but I’ve found neither. You still ignore major portions of my posts while going after those that fit your aims.
I won’t be back. I wish you the best. No hard feelings on my part.
Have a great life.

Also John UK please explain to me why you encouraged me in my work, called me a brother, then asked why Suiu should take what I said as coming from a Christian.

John UK Earlier in fact I said that if a woman was dressing that way on purpose to make men list there were bigger problems than standards.

John UK once again I was not trying to rebuke him. You are obviously not reading all of my posts or you are choosing to ignore portions of them.
I absolutely agree that they should have high standards but it isn’t your job to force them to. And is JY in a position to tell the piano player not to wear things like that? No. If you believe that there is something wrong with the church’s standards, don’t go there. It’s that simple. And what “broke the camels back was a post that followed the same spirit as far as I can see as a lot of other posts on here which is not a spirit of edification but a spirit of contention. If that isn’t what is was tell me so.

Fourth, Quite frankly I care less about what church JY attends and more about if he is born again. What I said still holds true. You belittle my trying to live by a passage which God laid on my heart when I asked for wisdom on how to deal with Christian conflict on my mission field, a couple of years ago but tell me to live by the whole Bible. Now let me ask you something. 1John2:6 says “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” Do you honestly believe Christ would post in the same spirit as that which I said I saw? And if I’m wrong and that isn’t what was going on why won’t anyone tell me that? I’ve asked multiple times.
And I don’t want a war I simply want straightforward honest Christlike conversation. Have I been rude? Have I made personal attacks and tried to destroy people’s character? No. I have only tried to let people know how I feel, give some food for thought and get some answers.
If that’s too much too ask for I’ll go away and leave you all to it. I didn’t rebuke Dr. Tim. I said “This is how I see it, am I wrong?” You thanked me and encouraged me in my work and than said why should you take what I say as coming from a Christian? I’m a little confused by that. I’m also confused why people are mad at me for this. If

Dear sir, I’m none of the things you mentioned. I’m someone who believes in the finished work of Christ on the cross and resurrected to save all who believe in him from their sins and give them a place in heaven with Him for eternity.
Second, you seem to have a problem with the fact that it was only my second post. So if I was loudmouthed, always posting my opinion and belittling those who disagree with me you would be fine with what I said?
Third if I was a Muslim, I couldn’t possibly cause more division on this site than there already is.

Ps. I also did ask you Dr. Tim if I was wrong, and also for feedback, to which you replied “No problem and no feedback either.” Why all of a sudden is my comment harsh?

Cont. Like I said the scripture does not exactly say what and what not to wear that is between them and God. I’m not going to split with a church because ladies in the church wear pants, even though I believe a lady shouldn’t wear pants. Or a short skirt. If they are doing it on purpose to make men lust there are other problems going on.
Also we should walk as Christ walked(1Joh.2:6) and I understand that to mean to act as he acted. If you honestly believe Christ would have you comment the way you do, then I have nothing more to say. I wish you all the best. Have a blessed LORD’s day.

To Dr. Tim
Dear sir you can believe whatever you choose, it doesn’t change the truth. I’m not sure how what I said would be perceived as harsh since everything I said was backed up by scripture. Also IMHO it isn’t as harsh as up and saying that someone’s church has no standards, which if technically true, would be like the church you just mentioned. If you saw what I said as harsh then I apologize for offending you. It is hard to convey emotion through text. I can’t determine your intentions, but if I were to punch you in the nose and then say it wasn’t my intention to hurt you or stir up trouble would you believe me? And if you said it was my intention to stir up trouble would you be judging me? And no, I don’t believe it would be all right for the church to decide that, but dress standards are not concretely set in scripture. Is not each saint to listen to the Holy Spirit and do as he says for them in their life? And btw you missed one very important part of what I said, “ the pastors, the members AND GOD”. God obviously wants us to be clothed since he made clothes in the beginning. But no one I know of was actually there when he made them, and saw what they look like. For a long time after that men wore robes. And I assume you don’t wear robes all the time.

Cont. And lastly the church’s standards are between the pastor the members and God. If it believes in Christ alone as the only way to heaven I can fellowship with those who go there even if I would not attend it myself.
Thank you again have a great Lord’s day.

To John UK. Dear sir,
Thank you for your post and encouragement, first I would like to explain. I reread my first post and would like to apologize on not writing it better. I can understand how it was taken as a rebuke but please understand, it was in no way meant to be. As I said before I was simply stating what I saw and asking for input if I was wrong.
Second, Dr. Tim said “your church” to JY and I was just echoing that.
Third I’m not really sure why it interests you to know my name. I have reasons involving safety for keeping it and my location private.
Fourth, I have been a missionary for about five years and I was an MK from the time I was nine. I understand the warfare that goes on spiritually and even between brothers in Christ. I have seen two ministries ruined by unnecessary strife between brothers which is why it saddens me to see it. I have made all the points I posted to other brothers face to face at various points in time.
Fifth, I have been reading these comments for four years. No you are not the enemy and more than anything else this is the point I want to make. If you are born again you are a brother and fellow servant. But people on here seem to think each other are the enemy. As I said, I have no desire to get involved in a war.
And lastly the chu

Cont. scripture. I have no desire to get involved in the constantly ongoing war on here. I just thought I would ask because I couldn’t find any profit, edification, or even counseling in the post I replied to.

Dear sir,
First off, I am not a woman. I am a young man and as such respect those older than me in the faith. However Paul, who was much younger in faith and actual age withstood Peter to the face (Gal.2:11)
Second I don’t use my name for the same reason I am not on any social media. I’m a private person and don’t feel as if my name is everyone else’s businesses.
And I don’t change my username. I’ve only posted once before and I used the same name.
Thirdly if you read my post you know it was not a rebuke, merely me expressing the way I saw what was going on and asking for any additional insight or if I was wrong in my perception.
Fourth, I have been reading the comments on here for a long time and it saddens me how people that say they are christians treat each other. God’s word says to follow after things which make peace and with which we can edify each other.(Rom.14:19)It also says that men would know we were his disciples by our love for each other. (John13:35) If I were not born again coming on here certainly wouldn’t give me any desire to be saved. The post by Dr. Tim saying that JY’s church had no standards was simply the last straw, and I posted something to him because he seemed like the most likely to take it seriously and consider it if backed by s
