Don't rule out Joe Lieberman. The Jews have always been Democratic and anti-war, that is until we started doing Israel's dirty work in the region. Now they are waving Old Glory like never before. They moved from left to right quicker than Richie Ashburn in center field at old Connie Mack Stadium in Philly in 1950. Old Joe is so far in the Zionist lobby's pocket he can't tell if he's feeling their fingers or his. The only chance the GOP has is to convince the Jews in America that not supporting a pre-emptive attack on Iran is paramount to spitting on any of the thousands of Holocaust memorials around the globe. If the Jewish money and influence (media, entertainment, banking & finance, government etc.) can be diverted to the GOP, Obama might as well go back to South Chicago. A Lieberman nomination as Veep would also cause the ultra-Dispensationalist Evanagelicals to gush like schoolgirls.
This stuff goes on all the time. Catholics just choose to ignore it like they ignore all the other things that go on in their "church". Catholic High Schools have required students to read "The Last Temptation Of Christ" and other heretical books, Catholic elementary schools have used material from the heretical Jesuit priest Teilhard de Jardin (who was condemned by the Vatican in 1924). When I was a Catholic I was marked as a "troublemaker" when raising these issues because Catholic sheep prefer to go through life whistling Dixie while their "church" practices everything it fraudulently claims to shun. I've seen "pro-choice" nuns speaking at Catholic liberal arts colleges who claim in their brochures to "support traditional Catholic values". The average Catholic is so clueless and chooses to remain so. The only hope is to "come ye out and be ye separate, and touch not the unclean thing".
