second coming at anyday? Pastor Mike. Biblicaly, the second coming, the resurrection CANNOT happy at any moment, or at anytime, as the scripture show us there are many thing that must come to pass before the great and terrible day of the Lord God come. The "at anytime" doctrine comes from the lie of the pre-tribulation rapture that so many have believed and been deceived by. But we know: (Matthew 24:29-30) "¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: {30} And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." |

Debt and sin forgiven without Repentance? (Luke 17:3-4) "¶ Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. {4} And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him."
If a BROTHER repents of a sin against us, we are to forgive. If someone does NOT repent, are we to forgive them? Does God forgive without repentance?
(Matthew 18:26-27) "The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. {27} Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt."
The servant asked for patience, THEN the king had compassion.
Did Paul forgive the silversmith? Or did he tell others of his treachery? All belongs to the Lord God! We are to lend, not expecting anything back:
(Luke 6:35-36) "But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. {36} Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful."
God says we are to love our enemies, yes, but I still do not see forgiveness WITHOUT repentance in scripture. Please correct |
