John UK wrote:
What you are trying vainly to say is that regeneration is accomplished by the Spirit indwelling
Ah
So I was right John.
You believe that the regeneration is worked from a remote location - by remote control.

You believe in the twofold visit version then John.

Once remotely from a distance of X feet the Spirit calls and regenerates!!

Then

Second visit He comes to indwell!!

This is what you believe eh John.

BTW
Can you just explain where you and your "team" find this in the Bible.

BTW.2
Can you also suggest where the Spirit goes after His first visit, and how long is it between His two visits?

BTW.3
Do you also believe that when the Spirit leaves after the first visit - the sinner who without the Spirit at this stage (in the flesh) can he spiritually discern, is he dead in sin and still at enmity with God.

OR Besides regeneration - Is he also able to believe and repent under his own steam?

PS;
Do you still believe this verse?
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his"

What should we be covered with? I say it's symbolic - covered by the blood of Jesus. Could you elaborate?

Bob
I presume you mean human beings can save each other, or do you suggest Harry Potter defeats the grace of God?

It's still Sunday worship time in your part of the world, Cheryl, don't you go to church on Sundays?

Quotes From a Woman- Cheryl:
"I doubt the Arabs treat women so badly. The Arabs love their wives and children, and they don't look at porn and don't fornicate. The Arab men are virgins when they marry, just like the women.
And most of the men on this forum hate the Arabs and want to nuke them away."

So, Cheryl, since you have lots of praises for Muslims/Arab people, do you mean you will soon be one of them?

"the only batch of sanity in a debate that has degenerated into farce."

What debate? I've not seen anybody put forward a name or discuss the question of the poll in any way.

I guess the point Lurker and MurrayA are trying to make is that there is not going to be any antichrist in the first place? Or that the antichrist was Nero?

What?

And I suppose Satan's name is not Lucifer either, yes? Otherwise, the name would not have been removed from all the translations except the KJB.

And the government is really good, and America is not living in a police state either. Right?

2John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God"

If we take this confession as a literal one to be used in the identification of true believers or an antichrist, then search the other Books of the Bible eg Matt, Mark, Luke and Paul's Epistles et al; - we can peceive that these Apostles/writers did not urge us to confess this, - Nor indeed did THEY make this precise confession in their works.

On this same basis then, do we therefore assume these Apostles to be deceivers and antichrist????
