I never 'implied' anything of the sort. This is your misinterpretation of what I had said. This happens way too often on blogs such as this as comments are limited. This is a prime example as to why I avoid this blog site.
Sin and unbelief applies to ALL people; not just religious leaders. Yes, I may have made reference to 'religious leaders' but I in no way implied that they were the only ones living in sin and unbelief; for there is none righteous, no, not one.

The Jews (Jewish religious leaders) did not hate Jesus for being a Jew, they rejected him because he (Jesus) declared himself to be the Messiah. To them this was blasphemy; they failed to recognized Christ for who he was, they did not know the Scriptures which spake of his coming.
