I find your comment interesting John. Four years ago my friends encouraged me to vote for the lessor of the evils. I simply felt like voting for evil was wrong. And yes I appreciated much of what trump stands for. But what if we followed Jesus example and prayed...and prayed...and prayed...its just a thought
Evangelism and the ministry or testimony of the church are two different items of the same whole. God draws men to himself by his own means by which any of us will feel flabbergasted, yet we are to content for truth and its purity among men. You draw parallel lines of the two, when in reality they intersect.
I live in a mission field here in the US...people have gotten born again using many versions....i have preferences for sure, and I realize some are not as good. But if someone who has no interest in reading God's word and picks up a Bible of any version, God be praised...taking them down a 'version rabbit trail would please the devil for sure
Great Sermon! for all believers Prov 24:7 ... a fool - He does not open his mouth in the gate
Isa 29:21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought
ive only been on sermon audio half a year or so......but to be honest ive been very disappointed with the comments. Thats why I dont comment frequently... there is so much squabbling, bickering, and finger pointing...... I simply dont have time!! Our church sent us to live and reach out in an extremely unreached community, in the US. Im surrounded by very high numbers of drug cases, suicides, murder etc.... I work a full time job. full time ministry, am trying to remodel my house, and raise a godly family all at the same time. There r so many needs around all of us, is it necessary to continually be picking on each other, on people who have heard the gospel, and who u know u disagree with, and who dont want to hear u... Most of the people around me would be glad for any one of u to point him to Christ....Lets examine our hearts, see if they r pure, and then move forward in spreading the Good news to those who dont know..... thanks for letting me unburden my heart.
I'm not sure I agree.... Many, many people I have met worldwide, nationwide, and even in my town simply haven't heard the gospel...They dont know who Jesus is or what he can do for them.. I met a university graduate who had to look 'Christian' up in the dictionary to see what it meant once..
