'Another problem with the KJV besides making God and his people look foul mouth hill-billies' says Jim L on his soap box againI guess Pastor Gil agrees with your arrogant and flipant statements?
He says of 'peculiar': 'Originally it meant to be set apart—to be reserved for something special'
He didn't explain why peculiar has changed its meaning over the years? Satan doesn't want to see a 'peculiar people' just like he is changing 'wicked' to mean something good-now a modern usage. Should we obliterate 'wicked' and use nasty or foul instead?
Gil says of wisdom: 'Wisdom is sometimes defined as the right use of knowledge'
The right use of knowledge is to explain even 'peculiar' bible words like PROPITIATION rather than obliterate such because it is no longer in modern usage.
Jim-you need to expalin to God on your knees why you hate the peculiarly blessed KJV and tell him why you think HE has no right to bless such today and for 4 centuries-because you consider in your very high opinion that it makes the Thrice Holy Most High God and His people look foolish and silly
Should we care about your 'wise' use of far too much head knowledge overriding your ability to see God glorified via the peculiar version?
