CV wrote: Under that Mosaic law, the woman was not allowed to divorce, only the man. It was a man made law, made for the man. And God didn't like that! It was God who appointed the man in charge. - Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and HE SHALL RULE OVER THEE."But you don't believe the Bible do you CV. Your arguement comes from the typical unBiblical popish conviction of indissoluble sacrament of marriage. Deut 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Now question - Is the Bible the Word of God? |
