Great Sermon! Sir, I hope you are right. I am awake at night contemplating the state of things and the evil in the world. I'm tired and I want to go home.
Great Sermon! My reading for this morning was Psalm 20 and I usually go and find a sermon that elaborates on it. Very good and interesting. A huge problem for sure and really appreciate the quote by Matthew Henry.
Great Sermon! This was a most precious sermon on God's loving dealings with us in times of suffering or difficulty. The illustration of the stuffed toy touched my heart and spoke to me personally. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Indeed, this is the North American church today. It begins in the pulpit when the preacher declares everyone saved simply because they've been in church all their lives or they said a prayer. All their sins are called weaknesses and that grace covers all that and they are to just carry on. In fact they sanction their sin and join in and think this is being loving and accepting towards each other. This is simply ear tickling. You see very little evidence there is real love to God or anyone else.
Great Sermon! This text was my morning reading for today. I use the MacArthur study Bible and in the notes it said the lesson to Elijah in the still small voice was that God is still working even when it is not noticeable and that brought so much comfort to me. I get so discouraged praying for the salvation of loved ones. My faith was strengthened to keep at it. I was also blessed to be reminded that God will bring justice where there hasn't seemed to be any, for which I have struggled for some time. Thank you.
Great Sermon! After being very disturbed by the promotion lately of verbal aggression, reviling, and overall abusive speech in Christiandom and calling it a quality of "manhood" by so-called Christians, I went looking for the truth that I knew and found it in these sermons. Thank you so much.I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for my sweet, soft-spoken husband, who reviles nobody and speaks well of everyone or doesn't speak at all. Being a bully is not being a man, not by any stretch of the imagination and that truth has it foundation in the Bible.
