“ Great Sermon! ” One of the greatest comforts that I have found in Christ's teaching on the Lord's Prayer is that he teaches us to pray "Our" Father. Jesus Christ unites us with Him in His claim to the Father's never ending love and care. He unites us with Him to the One who is all powerful, all knowing and enduring in His love to His children. Families, friends, goverments and even churches will and eventually do turn against us, but the love of our Heavenly Father as Jesus taught us to pray in these two words "Our Father" endures forever.
