Deut 7:22 Your comment on God dealing with our sins a little at a time, reminds me of:
Deut 7:22  And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.
Marriage If common law marriage is valid because gov't recognizes it; then does that mean same sex union is valid because gov't recognizes it?
Ultimately, the only valid marriage is the one that God biblically recognizes.
Great Sermon! Flesh and Spirit I agree that we are washed by the word of God:
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Could John 3:5,6 also be analogy of physical birth and spiritual birth?
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
