The devil sniffed Moses? Pastor Mike, I thought you only preached what was in the Authorized King James bible? Can you post the verse where it says that the Devil can sniff out a Christian? or that he sniffed or knew that Moses was going to be the prophet of God? Is it not the Lord God who hardened the heart of Pharaoh? It is ALWAYS the Lord God who kills and makes alive, lifts up or makes for destruction. Are we not to throw down vain imaginings?
Terrible recording, again... Most of your videos for the past few months have been recorded at very small resolution and and at double seed for the visuals, but normal speed for the audio, meaning we only get to hear half of the sermons as the video cuts out when the visuals are done. I am not complaining, I hope you can fix them as I really enjoy your sermons from the King James bible but have missed half of them for the past few months. Thanks.
Not what I expected. Did I miss it? When you were speaking of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, you said that our righteousness is as filthy rags, and they were being offered a free gift, but then said "I said I would live for God" rather than believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Sorry but you missed the actual gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ah John. The question becomes, when is it complete?
"Definitive sanctification refers to the (once and for all) defeat of the power of sin and the simultaneous renovation and renewal of the sinner that occurs at the inception of the Christian life. The older Reformed theologians referred to it as "initial sanctification." Definitive or initial sanctification is virtually synonymous with regeneration. This teaching is clearly reflected in the Westminster Standards: "Sanctification is the work of God’s free grace, whereby we are renewed in the whole man after the image of God, and are enabled more and more to die unto sin, and live unto righteousness." (Shorter Catechism #35). "They who are effectually called and regenerated, having a new heart and a new spirit created in them, are further sanctified, really and personally, through the virtue of Christ’s death and resurrection" (Confession of Faith, xv: 1)."
