Driscoll and his "Charismatic theology" are unbiblical and untrue.
Quote: "Charismatics teach that believing in Jesus Christ is not enough for the fulfilled Christian life. They believe that a second work of grace (the baptism in the Holy Spirit) is necessary for spiritual fullness. This teaching is a subtle denial of the sufficiency that we have in Christ; it detracts from the glory due to Jesus Christ and clearly contradicts Paul’s teaching regarding the fullness we have in Christ. “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him...” (Col. 3:9-10)" (B.Schwertley)
Charismaticalism displays the same old cult practice of adding to Scripture to make it say something else. Thus do they pretend and deceive by suggesting their interpretation is the correct one. Sounds just like the JW's. It is a 20th century temptation that we could do without.
1] Distribution of wealth in medieval times was certainly in the hands of the ruling upper classes. 2] The RCC tapped into this group and maintained their own accumulation of wealth through these contacts in Europe and further afield. 3] The peasants were also required to contribute some of their meagre pittance. 4] Whereas the ruling classes were exploiting said peasants, to produce agricultural wealth from ownership of the means of production.(Ownership of peasants and land). 5] The Roman Catholic Church by dogma, heretical teaching and superstition controlled the gullible masses and much of the ruling class too.
Hence "Capitalism" medieval style, courtesy of Popish Enterprises - built the Vatican and their empire.
"in his first book as pontiff, criticizing the "cruelty" of capitalism's exploitation of the poor but also decrying the absence of God in Marxism"
Thats strange I thought from the statement of history, indulgences etc, the Papal enterprise was built upon capitalism. All that cash they extorted from the people of europe to build their little empire from the Vatican.
Quote "Over a month, the humans will be locked in an unused orang-utan cage at Adelaide zoo, braving the searing heat and snacking on bananas. They will be monitored by a psychologist who hopes to use the findings to improve conditions for real apes in captivity."
