nothing new to "Lutherans". Ministers of this persuasion have been preaching this for years here in Germany.
According to them - Jesus supposedly did not rise in his physical body but only spiritually in the "kerygma" - ie: in the Church - pace John 20;27 :- "Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thine hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing."

with this endorsement an antagonistic response from Jim Lincoln could only be expected.

I was referring to your political antichristian viewpoint and I thought you would realize that. And yes, having a moral political viewpoint does not make someone a Christian. Read my post again and it should become clear. Just for the record, will you please answer my question as to when life begins or do as Obama did and say it is above his paygrade. I already said and can prove that it is at conception. Or you can email me and I will send you a very well written abortion meditation that I did. Yes, Re. 21:8 is very true and it is just as true and morally binding to those who promote murder. I will also freely admit that my primary agenda with interracting with you is to expose you to the public and of course draw you to repentance and faith in my Lord and Savior.
Thank you for your christian forebearancein dealing with the views of Jim from Lincoln. I agree with you entirely.
May we all read, learn and inwardly digest your words.

such interventions would savour of "Islamophobia" and will not even be considered.

The similarities between Anglicans and Catholics make them non-Christian.
your everlasting arguments against anything savouring of "anglicanism" would be more balanced if you acknowledged the writings of - for example - Archbishop J.C.Ryle or Rev.George Whitefield.
donĀ“t remember sinilar or identical rude remarks about the protests against the German Democratic Republic 25 years ago -"barking chants of We are the People" - of course then it was protests against "Communism" (Hurray!) - now itĀ“s protests against "Islam" (Boo!) - funny, isnĀ“t it? Wonder why. And "moral respectability"? We can safely leave that to the politicians - thatĀ“s their business - not a christians.

Therefore they should subjugate themselves to sharia as a way to serve their leaders per God's plan.
then it was wrong of the Germans to protest about the Nazis some 80 years back at tha risk of their lives? They should have accepted Hitler as GodĀ“s plan for Germany? It was wrong for Christians to protest about the evils of communism for the same reason? It is als wrong for that same reason to protest against the evils perpetrated in the name of Islam?
0ome off it, pennned, that is just so much codswsllop.
Frank wrote: From the article: First of all it is not gay marriage, but homosexual marriage. Secondly the expression homophobic implies that someone has an āirrationalā hatred or disapproval of homosexuality. My thoughts are not irrational or hateful, I only repeat what our holy scripture says that it is an abomination and was punishable by death when they had religious courts and if someone practices it, then they cannot enter into the kingdom of God, but will undergo His wrath. When we warn someone of the severity of their behavior or of the consequences, it is not hateful but loving. Also homosexuality has absolutely nothing to do with racism. I have heard liberals say things like being anti-feminism is a form of racism as well. Lastly, perhaps the Lord will use this experience to get this student out of that apostate university. It won't be long before Christianity as it is supposed to be practiced will be illegal. I pray the Lord keeps His children strong, unafraid and unashamed.

God revealed His name, and it's not a Hebrew name it is His name revealed to the Hebrew people. Giving God any name other than the names He revealed is a mockery to the true God. allah is a mockery, and The Lord God Almighty does need the name of a false god allah. Malaysian "chrisitian" need to let go of the false name god allah and be born again. They need to call upon the name of the God of the Christian whose name is JESUS CHRIST. Allah is a false god, a demonic inspired name for a god of a pedophile prophet mohammed.

thank you jpw! you have my complete agreement! Despite enormous pressure by medical schools, professional bodies, insurance companies and politics there are still doctors who practice medicine according to christian principles. The german doctors have just issued a public apology for the experiments of german doctors under the NS-regime. Perhaps, sometime in the future, we shall see a similar apology concerning abortions etc. - and that not only in Germany!
QUOTE][AUTHOR]John UK[/AUTHOR]Ever read The Thirty-Nine Articles, Jim? I suggest you do so, in order to stop making a complete idiot of yourself by making idiotic comments about a church you obviously know nothing about. Also you could read the lives of great men of God like Howell Harris, who was converted during the eucharist, George Whitefield the great (Frenchy) field-preacher, Bishop John Ryle whose commentaries on the gospels are still read avidly by sensible, aspiring preachers today, and many many more good Anglican men and women who will knock spots off both of us at the Bema. Even the Anglican Wesley brothers will shine like stars at the Bema, because of their devotion and free-willed obedience to their Master [LTRU].[/QUOTE]Agree with you entirely John. Americans particularly ought to be able to remember George Whitefield in this connection.
