Odd paradox that the Rev. Phelps knew how to condemn Roman Catholics and Sodomites and somehow equate that with the war in Iraq, and God's wrath on unbelievers, but he had no reservations about hiring a Jew to defend his sorry hide.
Forty percent wanting "Sharia Law" means sixty percent don't want it. Thats a good majority. How good? How many "Evangelicals" and "Fundamentalists" in the USA want their idea of religion passed into U.S. law? I'll bet a lot more than 40 %. Maybe, just maybe, UK Muslims are not as extreme as the US "Christian Right". A little food for thought for the race baiting, creed baiting, Christian Zionist mouthpiece known as "WND".
I recall Paul writing something about "the circumcission not made by hands" and the "circumcission of the heart", and "if we are Christ's we are the seed of Abraham and the inheritors of the promise", and oh well, we'll never get to the bottom of this in this world.
