Calvin's elect progeny, the Presbyterian Church of Scotland, are now defunct due to ordaining openly-gay pastors.
How did these once august elect bodies backslide to this evil state?
Actually there are still decent reformed members in the CofS who are Christian!
What are they doing there?
They are fighting for the Kirk and contending for the faith.

Yes the CofS is going down the tubes and Satan is winning at this moment in time. However there are not many denominations which are quote "winning" just now especially in Scotland. The disease of satanic Liberalism is poisoning the whole country.

Now whilst we are belabouring the point what about the Roman Catholic organisation? Hows the unBiblical idolatry these days, IP. You still worshipping ancient dead bodies and bits of ancient dead bodies? Are you still blaspheming Christ with the mass? Are you still blaspheming Christ with silly ideas such as co-redemtrix. Are you still provoking God with the worship of dead sinners which you have promoted to divinity? Are you still doing unBiblical practices such as confessing to evil hearted sinners like your self?

BTW Are there any people actually saved in your outfit or is it still just the famous historic home of pagan idolatry etc?

Do you disagree with this?
"(2.) After 1930, eventually most married Christians....

If so, how is this incorrect?

The term "Christian" means a follower of Jesus Christ, therfore one of God's elect by Faith in Christ.

The Christian "elect" of God, live by faith in the providence of God. Their marriage is a true marriage ordained of God. They live also by faith in Sola Scriptura. God's providence and the Holy Spirit's indwelling guidance direct and guide them in the life God has provided, in love, mercy obedience and wisdom.

The broad generalisation of your statement does not and cannot cover the true Christian. Since you are from the false religion of Roman Catholic you will not be able to glean honest stats about the true followers of Christ.

ON Roman Catholic religion ...
2Tm 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

And
2Thes 2:10 ... because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie:"

My first question could be "What planet are you from?" But then I realise that you come from Vaticano Romano Cattolica, which of course is light years away from real Christianity. Hence the reasoning behind your hypothesis!!!

Cameron's claims, on the oxymoron termed "same.sex.marriage" are just as disparate and distanced from Scripture and historic moral standards simply because he is a reprobate bound for hell.

Yet curiously that puts you both on the same path? Regardless of your conjectures.

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

The "1930 (CofE) Lambeth Conference" first approved the use of contraception
Perhaps the historic evidence goes a little further back than that IP.

I don't think that David Cameron was around in 600BC, in fact the Conservative party was pretty sparse too. Even the UK cannot proclaim too much political activity back then.

However...
"600 B.C.
Greek colonists found Celene in North Africa. Soon after, they discover a great treasure: Silphion, reputedly the first oral contraceptive. Silphion was an herb -- thought to be a kind of giant fennel -- that grew only in the area now known as Libya. Despite heroic efforts, it could not be cultivated. Worth its weight in silver, silphion was harvested to extinction by 100 A.D." (medicinenet.com)

But your jump from contraception to "same-sex-marriage" is somewhat vague to say the least. After all "same-sex-marriage" is a form of contraception anyway.

Do you suppose that you are a better Presbyterian than Calvin? How is it that Calvin could concede to the Baptists that the ancients performed the rite by immersion but YOU cannot
Calvin baptised babies by sprinkle!

So, What do you think?

I see you could not answer the point I made about the Eunuch's pool.

Now you and John UK remember that you are not to add anything to Scripture like increasing the depth of water to accomodate the modern Baptist philosophy.

I really don't know, Dinger, do you?
But if it was only 2-3 inches deep, then Philip might have scooped up a handful and poured it on the new convert.
And if it was over 18 inches, he would have done a proper job of it.
You see John (& Biblicist)
Here is the problem about the Eunuch pool.

Baptists need the pool to be of sufficient depth to support their theory on immersion.

Presby's don't! We just accept the Bible as it is written.
We do not add to the Bible to match our denominational hypothesis.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, IF ANY MAN SHALL ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book" Rev 22:18

Correct!
When I was working in the desert John, we noticed pools of water about two-three inches deep which apparently is not unusual in desert areas.

So I wonder if you can advise me on the pool which Philip and the Eunuch used.
Baptist perception can see beyond Scripture to such mundane matters like water depth.
So could you tell me just how deep this pool was 2000 years ago?
