Great Sermon! The problem today, even in Baptist churches is if we had a preacher who stood out in his dress in the same method as John and Jesus did, we wouldnt give them the time of day, no, we're too focussed on our silk ties and italian cuts. Amen.
Great Sermon! That was indeed a great sermon. But the main question I have is this: what would have happened if God did not drive Adam and Eve out of the garden and they went on to eat from the tree of life?
I am discipleling a new believer and have no theological education myself but I am finding great joy digging ever deeper into Gods word and at the same time spending that much less time dwelling in sin.

I believe that he was shut off from the Tree of Life in order to drive home to him that that which it would have afforded him in his innocence was now forever lost.
Man to this day still thinks that the Law is a Way to Life whereas it is, in truth, a way to death, because man is sinful and incapable of fulfilling the law. Had Adam eaten of the Tree of Life he would have but added to his condemnation.
