It is obvious that this man knows nothing about God or Christianity. It is a disgrace that he tries to identify with Christianity when he rejects the truths of the Word of God.
Of course those dead in sins and tresspasses cannot see TRUTH. God reveals these truths to His children. God's Word is Truth...The Bible is clear on this sin of homosexuality. No amount of debate or argument can convince anyone. Thank God for His Precious Grace and His Gift to Us, the gift of understanding the truths of His Precious Word.
There is no gray area in Christianity. Even though I detest the things this pastor said and stands for... What does that have to do with the presidential race? Do any of the candidates appear to be blood bought Christians? If they made a stand for the Lord Jesus of the bible, they would not even be in this race.
We all need to realize that there are two kinds of people in this world, God's children and Satan's children. There is no gray area!!!!
As with all my comments, I realize this will not be well accepted; however if one would only think, it is true. No matter how wicked a religion compared to ones that call themselves Christian, only REAL Christianity given by the Lord Jesus Christ counts.
Our only Hope is that God is in control and He is in control of even things like an US election. He will put them up and take them down....
Neil wrote: "Some folks seem to believe they are greater than God and can change what God has already predestined." That's fatalism, not predestination. Just because a parent can't change a child's heart doesn't mean he has no duty to bring him up in the nurture & admonition of the Lord. God uses secondary means to accomplish His foreordained purposes.
Both you and Kenny have taken my comment out of context. I did not say that parents do not have a responsibility and neither of you know or understand the circumstances involved with the children mentioned in my comment.
It is only when home-schooling becomes some sort of cult that it becomes a threat to the children.
There is pros and cons regarding the practice of home schooling. I know a family that practices this and yet the children have NO interaction with other children and little with adults.
When they are pushed into this wicked world, what will happen to them?? Just a thought and a real concern for these young people and their parents.
It would be good if we as parents could protect our children forever; however, we cannot and they must learn to make their own decisions at some point... We cannot keep them in a bubble.
Thank God for Sovereign Grace which is all we really have... We cannot make those that do not belong to God belong to him... Some folks seem to believe they are greater than God and can change what God has already predestined.
