Your hyper defence of theological judgmentalism pervades every comment, every thought, every discussion.. Even within the strains of the "new" reformed there are disturbing signs of abuse and doctrinal perversion. (see "Bruised Sheep" blog regarding Sovereign Grace ministries and so many others) You don't know anything about this ministry, in fact to assume every pentecostal ministry can be safely placed in the Jimmy Swaggert Basket is ignorant at best and malicious at worst... Pastor David Wilkersons Times Square Church is a well respected and beloved ministry among many others which include various Calvary Chapel Churches such as Ron Arbaughs at Universal City, San Antonio. Even John Macarthur would not discount his belief that there are many in the Charismatic circles he would consider brothers. But even then, this papal authority given over to high profiled theologians borders on idolatry. Ease up brother. This reformed theological bigotry is proving to be an epidemic of pharisaical proportions. Preferring to err on the side of grace rather than pre-judging a possible blood-bought brother, Cristina |

I really appreciated the predication of pastor Conway, remain as you are...
But I have a question.. my situation it's not easy, my husband was a christian and he left the church and he doesn't seek God anymore. In fact he demandes me divorce and now we are separated...
so, My question is: what do I have to do now? to remain divorced till JEsus arrived? or do I have the possibility to get married again to a christian person?

What we need is more preaching on the fear of God, and less of this junk on the fear of man. Ecc 12.13
Have a listen to the series by John Ashwood on this site.
Also the book "When People are Big and God is Small" By Ed T. Welch is very helpful. It is sooo frightening to hear "Christians" mocking relevant men of God. Though I am weary of pentecostalism in a broad sense, there is an overwhelming interdenominational respect for David Wilkerson and this mockery stinks to high heaven. This IS
one of the ways God chooses to bring about the fear of Him in the hearts of men. While you have the luxury of online snickering and internet surfing, men of God are fasting and praying to hear from God. Watch and pray... DO NOT mock what could be a biblical reality! |
