The Bible reminds us that the wisdom from above is first pure, that is, as you have stated, true to the clear uncompromising truths found in the Word of God and shown by the God of the Word. Then we note its characteristics are that it is then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and hypocrisy. These are lofty goals we must bear in mind when sharing our thoughts with one another on this forum. Even rebuke, reproving, and exhorting was to be done with longsuffering or patience. If we but remember what the Lord reminded us, that even though we made Him to serve with our sins and wearied Him with our iniquities, yet, He still blotted out our transgressions and chose to not remember our sins. If we ponder His patience and forbearance with us in our daily shortcomings and then try to extend the same grace one to another, we would do well May God be pleased to give to each of us that broken and contrite spirit to which He will look and not despise. I know I need much prayer that this would be my lot. Thank you for bearing with me in sharing my thoughts.

Watcher, it would be impossible and more than likely not profitable to cover how things were properly and improperly discussed in this thread. Plus my thoughts would be like anyone else's, very subjective. Even what you just posted seems like an improvement over the way several posts are worded by various people.

I am sure I am not telling you anything of which you are not aware. There needs to be an attitude of servanthood from all of us according to Mark 10:42-45. The Scripture says .. and the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves. If we see others as those we serve we will guard ourselves from accusations and being overbearing in sharing the truths of the Bible.

We all have to say but for the grace of God there go I , acknowledging we are what we are by His grace alone. Even a, " brother/sister would you agree this seems to be what is found in God's Word, what do you think an appropriate response would be?", would show this servant's heart. We are all flawed beings in need of the Spirit's guidance into all truth. Sometimes we will not see eye to eye, a simple, as you stated, praying for you in this matter is an excellent response. Just my thoughts.

Watcher, if you think your condescending, condemning, slanderous posts are godly and glorifying to God, you are sadly mistaken. In case you didn’t realize it is was your sin, and mine, that cried out to God for the awful death of His Son. The fact that you won’t change the demeanor of your posts despite Scriptural admonition from Galatians 6 and I Corinthians 13 makes me wonder if you would be willing to adhere to Ephesians 4:29. Don’t say what about so and so as you are responsible for you.

Moniker was chosen to match the post, if you got a problem with that doc that is your issue not mine.
Watcher, what others do here or anywhere is not the standard for how our own behavior is determined. The Apostle Paul clearly stated if you see a brother overtaken in a fault, or what you perceive to be one, you are to restore in a spirit of meekness and humility seeking to help bear their burdens I Corinthians 13:4-7 should mark all our posts. As one person’s moniker put it, just my own 2 cents

Watcher, more than likely some would believe you have an oddball way to show you care. To be forthright as you have suggested we should be, you have too high opinion of yourself. The humility exhibited by others rarely appears in your comments. I’m not saying you don’t care it just doesn’t come across that way sometimes by the tenor of your comments
