I personally don’t mind “Merry Xmas”. Christ was never in a Mass! Catholics came up with Christmas for Christ Mass. The Lord Jesus a Christ was born in September, but Christmas is still a good opportunity to get out the gospel.
Street-Preacher wrote: Q:"Do You Think The Jews Killed Jesus ?" A:I KNOW THAT THE JEWS KILLED JESUS ! AND SO DID ROME !: IT WAS A JOINT EFFORT !
It is a simplistic and erroneous hypothesis to narrow the guilt of Christ's death to the Jewish people who were then the chosen nation of God. Or the Roman soldiers who were obeying their masters for political reasons.
It is also an insult to God and Christ who allowed and ordained these events before the world began.
Jesus said; Matt 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
As Jesus here illustrates the entire event we preplanned by God in accordance with Scripture. The fact that SOME Jewish people were involved in the process was because God chose them and used them to complete His purpose and plan in the saving of the elect.
Street Preacher; If you want to apportion guilt then try looking closer to home and your own evil wretched sinful existance.
fuzzy logic wrote: I have read Why Johnny Can't Read (1959?) and Why Johnny Still Can't Read (1974?) by Rudlof Flesch and I am convinced--the reason why many kids can't read from an early age is because of the absence of teaching PHONICs.
And a general unwillingness to use a dictionary to help them with words they don't understand, mostly learnt from their parents.
