Well said. I would like to know why we are hearing so little uproar from the Christian community. We are truly lambs led to the slaughter. What comes next, I suppose, is jail time for Christian employers refusing to bow to Neb's 60 cubit image.

Certainly America needs more law makers like this man that has convictions about Biblical truth and is not afraid to stand for it!
All America needs now are Americans that have convictions about placing men like this in office and making their way to the voting booth on Nov 6!!

I for one am still a Protestant, certainly protesting that countless souls are deceived by the false religion of Roman Catholicism, but protesting more that so many professing Christians today appear that they do not know much of their Bible, leave alone church history, in order to see the spirit of error in Roman Catholicism that we should be protesting!

I may not entirely agree with John MacArthur's view that states the U.S. is under God's judgment, because I see still see God at work in many people's lives today. I believe the "world" is already under God's judgment and, in that sense, the U.S. is part of the world. But I am hopeful that the U.S. is still at a crossroads - when many see the issues of the day being economics, God is still calling for repentance and faith in His Son Jesus. Yes, being in trillions of dollars worth of debt is a moral issue, but articles like these point to nothing more than the spiritual insanity that needs God's grace mentioned in 2 Tim 2:24-26.
May America, by God's grace, see the real issues of the day, and vote for leaders that more correctly align themselves with God's principles.

Dear fork in the road,
Two evils don't make a right - let's get to the crux of the issue. The U.S. government is asking religious organizations to provide abortifacients to its employees. Yes, I believe it wrong for a religious institution to accept government funding to arbitrate so-called "safe sex" propaganda; I also believe it utterly heinous for the U.S. government to force all religious institutions everywhere to violate their consciences or be fined or imprisoned - this parallels what happened to the church when Hitler took power in Nazi Germany. This act is a violation of our Constitution (no wonder the left wants to either re-interpret, ignore it, or re-write it).
Have you ever stopped to think why the Federal government is so interested in supporting the deaths of millions of American babies?
Email me if you are interested in my response.

Rick, truly I apologize! I found out that this article along with others was completely false and that there are many things said about you and your true beliefs in Christ that were misrepresented. Thank you that you are indeed remaining faithful to our Savior and His Word. Thank you that you are continuing to reach the lost in Jesus name.

BNewman wrote:
Rick, it is evident to me that you do not have the Spirit of Truth on this issue.
You may have zeal but no knowledge.
There are many wonderful ways to reach the lost - this approach uses the holy name of our Father, the true God, in vain.
Rick, the Apostle John tells us that "God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all!"
May God open your blinded eyes to see not only your apostasy and the ramifications of your foolish actions, but the consequences of your own sin.
The Apostle Paul tells us "But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed."
May you repent of this sin for His glory and your own salvation.

What? The distance from the UK and old Nazi Germany is only a few feet now is it?
I highly recommend a DVD put out by the AFA entitled, "What Hath Darwin Wrought". It will open your mind to see the source of these doctrines are straight from the pit and how this thinking became a practice which was naturally culminated under Hitler.

I have one question for my Canadian brethren! Where have we read in the news that Canadian Christians are in an uproar over this?
Dear silent Canadian Christians, will you wait for your government to command you that it is also unlawful to tell your children about Jesus Christ?
I fear that too is coming.
What a beautiful hymn, "Am I a soldier of the cross, a follower of the Lamb, and shall I fear to own His cause, or blush to speak His Name? Must I be carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease, while others fought to win the prize, and sailed through bloody seas?"

I really like Christian's comment. It is true that Christians do not worship a book... they worship the Savior of the Book! It is also interesting to note that Islam is so connected to the "tangible" and yet life or death appears to mean nothing to their religion. What their religion is missing is the true Father of Light, the Son of Righteousness, and the Holy Spirit of Truth and Comfort. Heavenly Father, may You have mercy on these that are enveloped in this great veil of darkness. Let this darkness be removed from their minds by the illuminating power of Christ, Who has died for the sins of the world, and has risen from the grave to live for ever more, that all who place faith in Him and call upon His Holy name may be saved by your grace. Lord, God, have mercy upon the Middle East. And Lord, save these soldiers that have done nothing more than offend this realm of darkness in that land that engulfs the souls of countless men, women, and children. Amen and Alleluia!

Mike, a corollary of Matthew 12:30 is that he who is with Jesus is NOT against Him, but I see you focus on the negative.

Have you not heard that during the Nazi takeover of Germany, all the churches in Germany were divided? It is so sad that the Christian army is the only one in all of history that shoots its own casualties. It was Nazi Germany that sent people to reprogramming because they did not cross every 't' they way the Nazi's did. Is every Christian who is not in alignment with some confession just another child of Satan? This sounds more like Islam, doesn't it?

The actual point at hand is that Franklin Graham did a tremendous job answering all of his accusers during this interview. Did he not? Then give him credit for that and thank our Lord that there are still men like him that are willing to stand up for Christ in this dark and vile world!

Per Moses' comment, denying 'all' forms of contraception is legalistic. By the way, what does sola fide have to do with these issues?

To the point at hand, I am so thrilled to see more and more judges stand up and make intelligent stands against all forms of abortion.

Way to go Justice Parker!

When foreigners came to migrate to the U.S. they were required to place their allegiance in America and their homeland was then considered second. Why is that seen as wrong today? Does not our government want people in our country who swear allegiance to America and not another?
And why would it be wrong to immediately deport those that refuse allegiance to America back to their own homeland?
What, is this too logical?
It has worked for every kingdom in the history of mankind until today where tolerance is now more important than national defense...

We are missing the big picture.
Yes, it is important that 'all' Americans have freedom from discrimination, but do we not also see Christians trying to stand up for what is morally right and being discriminated against and labelled?
It is clear that the Bible teaches that no homosexual shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. Then shouldn't Christians try to warn (in love) their family & neighbors that homosexuality has an eternal consequence?
If the issue now becomes that of atheism, what difference does it make then if we all return to our primordial soup from whence we came?
No sense in polishing the brass...
Ah yes, truly the world preaches eat & drink for tomorrow we die.
But make no mistake about it, the big picture is this... Christ will return again and those who are lawless shall not inherit God (see Matthew 7).
So then, my question is this... what have they won?
May God grant that His people remain humble and yet strong like Jesus who is willing to meet sinners where they are but not willing to leave them that way.
Also, what does Islam say about this topic? Are Christians the only underdog?
It also amazes me that one judge can over rule the mindset of an entire nation.

Why not? The people in MS elected their officials that had a great opportunity to pass "Personhood" into law but failed.
So now their great elected officials, who refuse to protect babies, are going after life sentences for the parents... makes perfectly good sense to me... right...?

As an ex-corrections officer, take my word for it, no one in any jail or prison is living a life of leisure! This death row prisoner is filled with delusions.
Could this be just another case of the greed of the press wanting to make a buck in printing more garbage with all their spin thrown in the mix...?

OK, here is a good time for KJV only advocates to get on their band wagons.
But seriously, the KJV is not the best translation "in the people's language" if you have ever looked at the original Greek & Hebrew texts, but it is at least a translation like the trustworthy NASB, but not a paraphrase like the NIV and even the completely liberal NLT and a whole hoard of unfaithful to the original that is out there.
Having said that, I must admit, reading Ken Taylor's Living Bible helped me find Christ!
I wonder if the authors of these new works have added their own spin to Rev 22:18-19??

America, I have one question to ask of you.
Why did you vote for such corrupt office holders that dare make claim that our great Constitution (for which godly men gave their lives) states that American businessmen need work for anyone against their consent and conscience?
My. How our once great Nation has fallen if we swallow this fascist theology straight from the pit!
But what is worse? You won't vote them out of office even after you have seen them remove their sheepskins!
We truly live in a time where evil is called good and good is called evil.

First off, I don't see anything wrong with hiring Ellen to be Penney's spokesperson as long as the message does not get polluted like it did with Home Depot.
Seriously, is the Christian message that gays cannot work in America?
But here is my comment: in the online article, the writer states, "Ellen has surprised the industry's once closeted Hollywood culture by proving that talent and likability can override bigotry."
Really? Is that what everyone thinks this is all about? Bigotry?
Yes, and the world will continue to hurl names worse than this at God's people wanting to preserve moral integrity in America.
The "left" does not see the fight at all - they only see with the little light that has been given them. If your world view does not answer the basic questions of origin and destiny, there can be no definition to meaning and morality either.

Actually there are no atheists anywhere! The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 1:18-22 that everyone believes - it is just that some spend their lives suppressing that truth to the point they begin to believe their own lie.
