Theology and piety Thank-you for promoting this godly voice from the past. How true--and how troubling--that the resurging interest in reformed doctrine is not matched by an equal pursuit of reformed and puritan piety.
So true. May the Lord raise up many more watchmen to “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm”. Would that we all increasingly felt the need to “weep between the porch and the altar and […] say, Spare Thy people, O Lord, and give not Thine heritage to reproach…” I pray that God’s presence will be known in a real way at your ministers’ week of prayer next week. May it be a Bethel, a place where you will all testify with Jacob “Surely the Lord is in this place”. Rather, could it be a Peniel, a place where you may wrestle with God and prevail! The Lord grant you many Aaron’s and Hur’s to support you.
Chilling & Piwerful Thank you for taking the time to include the video as part of this message. It was needful.
Fellow listener, watch the video if you are able. It really drives home the message.
If you can't watch, at least listen, ESPECIALLY if you work with children and/or young people.
