While most of what they do is wrong from a fundamentalist view (the right view lol) this particular one is not as is reported. Yes he admitted to being gay but NO they dd not know about it in advance. And it has been said he has not been in a position of leadership since then. For once Hillsong actually clarified their position: They welcome gay worshipers but will not knowingly allow them a position of leadership.
I'm not reading the whole lot of these comments as most of the early ones are rubbish.
Ken Ham, as heard by my own ears sitting in front of him, is not a Church. He does not run a nonprofit organisation either. He is part of a business that has the goal of teaching science that supports he Bible's account, but primarily starts with the belief the Bible is correct regardless of the current evidence (which changes). He does not use science to prove God. He uses God's word to show science can confirm much of it. And he acknowledges that some things have no physical proof and are reliant on faith alone.
This is a business making a business action. There is nothing wrong with that.
It is a shame how many supposedly rational thinking people miss out or deliberately hide the fact that far more people die from not having vaccinations than have them. You could pretty much wipe out every immunosuppressed man woman and child who was in for cancer or any transplant treatement or was simply born with a compromised immune system - because the arrogant self righteous decisions of those who claim vaccinations are the devil. Several people in my life would have died of medical neglect if that had been the case. And that amount doesn't even count the millions who died in past outbreaks regularly. I was taught of those in school and home.
Do your own study on how vaccination works and how it protects a population. Don't just believe the hippie hug the trees / conspiricy theorys promoted online and on tv docos by what I consider ignorant and dangerous fools. Not all doctors are out to get you - even in america, which I am NOT. How quickly we forget the reason we made these things in the first place (which was not for american doctors to get rich btw).

The problem with these fanciful ideas of false prophets etc is that systems still slow down to the slowest link speed. So in tracking people or voice calls, the link will never be faster than the speed of the cell phone. Or the telephone wire's bandwidth. What this technology speak of is sending a mass amount of data over ONE connection at full speed. Not using many millions of slow connections at the same time. Just one connection.
It shows the potential maximum speed of a laser is huge. It says nothing about all the communication systems we currently use like radio or copper cable.
If an alien landed on earth, he would never be able to be saved. Why? Because he wasn't human. The only way God saved sinners was to take on human form to pay the price for a human sin. For this reason the Bible shows that not one single angel will be forgiven or saved from their sin.
Now as to how one knows if a Church is good or not, such as the RCC... one sits and reads the scripture. And then one asks what their church teaches. And then one compares the Bible to the teachings of the church they are in. In the case of the RCC it is easy to compare such things as mother worship, eating of one's god, idolitary, praying to the dead (necromancy), and so on and then see what Scripture has to say on these matters.
Christianity is not a blind religion of obedience. It is a thinking 'reckon ye' (Romans) state where the person investigates and studies and makes informed decisions. The whole point of keeping the blasphemous mass in Latin was so that the people did not have access to the Word of God in a language they could study and understand. Otherwise they might walk out. Which many did the very moment the Bible was translated into their own tongue, for that reason.
Once people understand the meaning of terms like hoc est corpus then they discover a lot of irrational hocus
