How can a person lead when they have no Bilical education? I don't believe a person has to have a degree to teach out preach, but a person has to be firmly grounded in the Word of God to lead others.
If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality,a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. -Titus 1:6-9
FYI I suggest you read the book While Europe Slept. I read the article and I saw what they are working on, but that does not change the history of appeasement and political correctness that has brought the U.K. to this point.
I read the entire article before I posted my comment. The facts are the facts. The situation in Europe is spiraling out of control. This attempt to now limit the scope of damage these radicals can do may be too little too late.
This is exactly what years of political correctness and appeasement will get you. Instead of addressing the problem of Islamic extremism, Europe has chosen to bury their heads in the sand while their country has been overrun with violent extremist Muslims. Take note America, if we are not vigilant we will be facing the same fate.
Also, isn't it interesting that Michael Savage is banned in Britain for nothing but political reasons, but they have no problems with Muslims in their country preaching hate and violence while living off the government? What a mess the world is in.
As a baptist there are many things I disagree on with other churches. We need to stand on Gods Word.
All I meant is that too many people get caught in the trap of spending all of their time and energy on blasting other denominations. We need to show them where they have strayed from the faith, but we also need to do it in the right way.
I notice people get caught up in bashing other denominations alot. There may be things we disagree on, but the bottom line is whether or not denominations believe that accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior is the ONLY way to heaven. Instead of bashing each others denominations we should be focusing our energy and talents on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and winning souls.
This is one of the issues of standardized testing. Too many teachers a forced into "teaching to the test" instead of providing well rounded teaching. More times than not, it would be far more beneficial to grade according to work and projects while placing less emphasis on tests.
As far as children being distracted by smart phones and video games, it is time for parents to be parents. Make your kids put away the toys until their homework and projects are done. Parents news to be active in their childs education and teach them to prioritize.
While the comment is a little extreme, I believe he is just trying to state how ludicrous it is to compare what the president is going through to what Job went through. There is NO comparing the two. Pelosi is out of touch with reality and is evidently not very familiar with what Job experienced to make such a foolish comment.
