I am thankful I so appreciate the truth spoken today. What an encouragement to this Body of Believers. I really appreciate how the words of Paul were shared. Have read them, seen them, but not together like this. Yes Lord, I am thankful!
Thank you That I would have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart for lost souls more than the noise and distractions of this world. Thank you Pastor JD for stirring up the church with what is important.
In Times Like These... My heart struggling before worship and preaching. But God!! Through the preaching of His living Word glory hallelujah! The Word of God is not bound! The Word of God is invincible! Yes yes yes!!
Motivation! The difference between means and motivation!! Could spend hours on that. I appreciate Pastors who not only proclaim the Word of God, but give the “how to”. “So, don’t fool yourself, no amount of going through the godly motions will produce a pure heart if you are just as devoted to something else at the same time. Jesus said no man can serve two masters.” How we so easily we deceive ourselves with our means. And bottom line, thank you Pastor JD, how much God do you see? How much God do you want to see? Not just someday for eternity but now!! Glory!
I’m Safe!!! Not only did you bring the truth and promise of God you helped in bringing out those places that keep us from receiving all that is promised! Thank you for teaching that ADDICTION is not just alcohol, drugs etc. Oh that we hear and receive and act on this! Reveal our, my hidden heart. May the alarms of life send me to the eternal God who is my dwelling place!! No more of the earthly justifications or excuses. Thank you again Pastor. Thank you Jesus.
Timely Thank you for bringing this word to my heart. We all need to be prepared. I need to do what I have been commanded to do in the Word of God. As we have dealt with this “pandemic” another believer and I have discussed the idols that are being removed as verse 21 speaks of “...the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, the yearning of your soul...” Father God, may You become in our lives, in my life, what You intended from creation. May all this lead many to Christ and may You be glorified!! Thank you for Pastors who preach the Truth!!!!
Perfect Having just recovered from Covid this sermon was right on. What God ministered to me and my husband so worth what we went through. I would rather not experience hardship but it is very clear that we will. To have God Almighty minister to your heart and mind so humbling. God delivers and He opens our ears!!! Thank you Pastor JD for being so willing to seek God in the Word and proclaim Truth. That we all have ears to hear, that this Word find fertile ground and bear a great crop!
Great Sermon! Wow!! The absolute best in presentation of a very powerful word to the church!! I’m so thankful for the Truth. Having been through a very difficult 2 weeks this message is making my Spirit soar! Yes life is messy but what Christ did on the cross proves we can bare all this life has to offer. Christ is so worth it!
Great Sermon! This sermon one of the best. I have read the printed copy again and this is powerful. As a counselor this is what is needed in encouraging folks to live victoriously. For me to live victorious!
Because of this type of teaching I read and see Gods Word differently. It’s all there. Thank you Pastor JD for raising us up in the Word. Oh that many would choose to become free of the sin that so easily entangles!
From reading the comments, it would appear that most writers seemed to have missed the point of Rev Curry's message. It wasn't about LGBT or abortion or divorce, nor did he even express his views. He had the opportunity to reach millions of people across the world and his message was about love, both God's love and our love for mankind. How often does the Christian world get an opportunity to reach so many Christians and unbelievers alike?? It saddens me to see so many people take away from the point of his message.
Great Sermon! I am impressed and blessed by this sermon. We need more KJV black ministers preaching the word with strong conviction teaching our people about sanctification and abstinence. Keep the word coming. God bless you.
