As a youth I’ve thought about this and I truly believe not by my own opinion but by Gods words that, the reason youth stop going to church is cause they don’t have a solid foundation in there faith. There not grounded in Gods word. There faith is there’s parents faith not there own. This is partly on the churches fault. God says that children are a gift! And that parents are supposed to root them in scripture. There like arrows, you don’t send arrow that is blunt into the enemy would you? I think that parents need to start embedding scripture into there kids minds from day one of birth. You must give them a solid standing in Gods word and let them own there faith, not you. They need godly piers to desire godliness with them. Parents need to invest in there child like one would a gift they were given.

Great job brother Lee! This was a major blessing to hear, not many people from my generation have heard this. It was good for me to hear it again.

Wrote a Greek text in their version of higher criticism and idolatous heretical hearts.
Even so, their biases aside, if you study and understand that Greek text you will have no difficulty refuting a JW.

As for their bible the NT Greek text which the JW's use is based upon the Westcott and Hort religious and theological fallacy.
If the JW's actually followed the Greek text of Westcott and Hort they would not be JW's.

If Westcott and Hort had followed their own Greek text they would not have been damnable sacramentalists.

I would hate to go up against a Jw NWT with a modern Bible. Because they are so similar. When they ask what Bible I use? I show them my KJV. It's hard for them to prove it wrong. When you use a modern version with scripture taken out, they have a field day. And say the NWT is just a more modern way of explaining, just like the rest of the Modern translations. When you have Verses taking out, you have a situation.
It is a pity that you are so unschooled in the Scriptures, or have so little confidence in them, that you feel that way.

JW's can be refuted with the recent modern bibles just as much as with the early modern period bibles such as the Authorised Version.

Thanks for the recommendation. I listened to the first one so far, and it was excellent! Very biblical and reasonable. Much appreciated!

Sermon:
Peter, Judas and Me
Ricky Jones

“ Great Sermon! ”
Ricky said that we think true faith is not sinning - but he went on to say that true faith is what we do after we sin. Peter and Judas both denied Christ but Peter came back because Jesus prayed for him. Ricky keeps pushing us to Jesus and challenging us to trust Him and His love for us. He closed with something I never get tired of hearing - that Jesus always welcomes us back home and eventually we come to love Him and being home with Him so much that we don't run away - or at least not as easily. This sermon reminded me of John Newton - he said (not an exact quote)- I was ashamed when Christ found me, I am more ashamed now, and I expect I will be most ashamed when He comes for me, but I rejoice in this - that He is not ashamed of me.

“ Not God's Pet ”
We all struggle with believing that God could really love people like us - we think we are God's pets or worse. We find it hard to see Him as our Father who loves us and who delights in showing mercy. Ricky keeps driving this home in his sermons - especially this one. This type preaching could make mean Reformed people like me acutally start to love being around Jesus and love being with other broken sinners. Hell, I might could even want to tell people about a God like this.
