Great Sermon! I will missed pastor Don, a great preacher for Jesus Christ. I'm listening online on his sermons and found out today that he is with the Lord. I feel sad but his sermons will be for generations to come.
Wonderful sermon--thank you. The situation now is so much the same as the deplorable spiritual state of things before past revivals, as described in this sermon. May the Lord be pleased to likewise send us showers of blessing.
Great Sermon! "For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake," These words, taken from Phil. 1:29 sure don't sound like the message you hear today from the majority of churches. This is a very pratical sermon.
How do you all feel about fornicating Christians? Teenage dating? ALL sin is an abhorrent offense against a Holy God. Homo sex is no better or worse than hetero fornication or adultery. We should be repenting not judging before His holy wrath.
Great Sermon! There is a lot of good information about Jewish custom and the building of God's church in this sermon. The reason given for Paul's irritation with the demon possessed girl is one I've never heard before. Excellent ending about the miracle of new life in Christ.
Great Sermon! I never take the time and/or have the time to really meditate on all of Scripture. Some verses I do and others I pass by without much thought. I'm grateful for the meditation and study that Pastor Steve gave to the story of Thomas. He says, "Love in the face of radical unbelief", that is so true. I learned a lot through this teaching on Thomas. Difficult verse like John 20:23,28 are explained in a way I can understand. There is excellent applications at the end. If you can't listen to the whole sermon at least listen to the end.
Great Sermon! I like the speakers premise, "A distorted view of hell will help support a distorted view of Christ." This sermon is excellent, especially if you try to speak the truth in love to Jehovah's Witnesses.
Great Sermon! There is a lot of excellent advice about parenting in this sermon. Also, a good warning to not seek to be like everyone else. I pray that I/we could learn from other peoples mistakes/sin!
Great Sermon! This series on John has been such a blessing to me. Pastor Massey mentions that it's common for Christians to feel as if they were blind and can now see. It's true, how amazing is it that we have spiritual eyes to see spiritual things! How amazing is our God, He is full of wonder and I'm in awe of Him. Because of His loving grace through His beloved Son, my beloved Jesus, I can see.
Insightful Sermon! I don't think I will soon forget the lessons taught in this sermon because they really had a great impact on me. I'm reminded not only that we need to be able to walk away from material things but also that we are to die to ourselves as well, so that we can live to Christ. Praise to God that He will finish the work He started in us.
Great Sermon! This is an excellent sermon on a sin that isn't obvious even to ourselves, I really didn't think about being covetous until I was reminded by this sermon. I glad to be more aware so I can repent. I love the encouragement at the end of this sermon. How very great and precious is the blood of Christ.
Great Sermon! Learning the truth of God's absolute sovereignty over all things has blessed me beyond belief. When I finally understood that the question wasn't, will I accept Jesus but will He accept me! It was then that my relationship with our great God forever changed because now I'm worshiping the one true God as He is and not the god of man's making. Thank you Pastor Marquedant for an excellent message!
