This article should be made public to all parents and christian leaders in the world but basically of North America. The result of this war is the destruction of the entire Judea-Christian culture! Beware Christians!
Inconsistent and fallacious. What I think is sad is the inability of these individuals to make basic category distinctions. I mean the equivocations and mixing of categories. Are these individuals theonomists? I in fact hold a position very consistent with theonomy and I think the position this sermon partakes is a complete departure from the reformed methodology. Conjecture, tradition and utter lack of exegesis and meaningful rigorous examination with the topics at hand. I find it very disappointing for church, espessially those in eldership, to take topics such as these so lightly. To jumble up tattooing with the idea of legalism and not taking repentance seriously is just dishonest and misleading. I think they need to re-examine their tradition and consider repenting is the laziness engaged in this discussion
I was saved last year. I knew of what the Jesuits had done to the seminaries and a bunch of other stuff that went along with their heresies. I began going to a community church close by and I realized that God wanted me there to pray for the people, and that his will be done. It's not easy hearing heresy in every bible study but by prayer to Christ from the body of Christ for healing and to purify our worship i believe this is his will. I'd say get back in the churches and fight for the body of Christ, don't give up. The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is mighty.
Good I wanted to learn more about the Protestant Reformed views on psalmody. I appreciated your love of the Psalms as the "words of Christ" which we are to sing in worship. We approach things differently in the Scottish church I am a member of, but there was still much good here. I recommend checking out "Instrumental Music in the Public Worship of the Church" by Girardeau for a more thorough look at Presbyterian's "extreme" view.
