I do believe that Mr. Jim Lincoln is your typical goat that the Bible warns about. Charles Stanley is not perfect and none of us are. His books and his ministry has been beneficial in my life. Anyone that comes on here to cast stones should self examine also. I’m afraid that Jim is not saved and that’s why he pushes for Biden to be elected so that more Christians and babies can be aborted. I suggest Jim puts on his mask and leaves us Christians alone for a while why he prays for his salvation.
It’s too bad sermon audio has goats writing comments. No true Christian would vote into office a candidate that is pro abortion and supporters of life styles prohibited by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We need to pray for the lost and support Christian leaders when they stand up against the government when it violates biblical foundation principles.
JMAC is right and Stanley is a coward. All this “pandemic” is a joke and a polical shift to change societies standards. The church needs some good leadership that will stand up and help the flock. If it’s not done now the churches will look like the malls do now. Barely operational and about to close!
All followers of Jesus should pack all the churches this Sunday. Enough time has gone and I still don’t have the Chinese flu but I do have a bad case if I can’t pay my bills since I cannot go to work!
Great Sermon! I see the point about Flowers not giving a full exposition of Romans 9. Although, I think a full exposition was unnecessary. He stated that for the most part they were in agreement as to the meaning and purpose of that chapter. What he then did was focus on the passages or verses that he disagreed with White's interpretation and also added to the context of the chapter (referring back to Romans 1 and following). It made sense as he only had 22 minutes.
I don't even fully agree with Flowers, but I still think he did an excellent job (especially for a beginner).
Great Sermon! A wonderful sermon on the humanity and youth of Jesus Christ. Having listened I find myself drawn to study the word more and to spend more time with the Lord in prayer. O what a Saiour!
Orthodox teaching Includes a profound quotation from Hugh Martin's commentary on Jonah, and a highly skilled explanation of the agreement between Paul and James in Jam. 2:24 and Rom. 3:28. With exegesis on John 14:6 to conclude.
Enlightened and humbled God truly works in His people and sanctifies them by the preaching of the word, and He uses messages like these to confound the wise, for we the people of God look not for sophistry and bold statements which exalt the creature, but for that preaching which debases the creature and comes with power. What is the profit of the intellect if it be used for sin and Satan? But we who have been truly enlightened by the Spirit of God boast not with a high mind, but use the wisdom God hath given us to glorify Him, and edify His church. This sermon was richly edifying.
Sound refutation of the modern Reformed conspiracy There is a surge of heresy coming from the modern Reformed teachers of today in which they all speak boldly and viciously against the LORD and against His Christ denying the doctrine of sin, which God hath so carefully in scripture laid out to convict men, and these pastors of Presbyterian denominations having not the Spirit of God do compromise the gospel, whether by works religion or antinomianism, denying the perfection of the law or the obligation thereof and in so doing go about to please men and preach peace when there is no peace. May God raise up a generation of faithful prophets to proclaim His gospel to all nations beginning with the proclamation of His law.
Great Sermon! Very balanced and informative sermon. The topic of pants on women has unnecessarily divided Christians with some judging others as worldly for wearing them. Well intentioned believers read more into Deuteronomy 22:5 than it actually contains, inadvertently imposing their understanding on the verse.
