I think it means your country is influenced by Islam. It's really hard to find a muslim who cares about Israel, or Jewish people. Maybe inside Israel itself you can find some, but certainly it's a minority.

Do you think your persecution prophesy will impact sermon audio? I think remove that tax exemption from the churches, and many will fall, and therefore many of the sermons will be removed because you need to be a paying member to have them be hosted. Something to think about if you have not backed up your favorite sermons.

What do you mean "we are ‘Augustinians"?
There is no evidence of him ever holding to a true gospel. Hence why he is so adored by the Roman Catholic church.

I enjoyed the left behind books, but that is all they are, Christian fiction books. I read the late great planet earth when i was a young christian, it introduce me to Hal Lindsey and his tv program. Though I don't agree with him on some things, he did teach me many things. At some point I had to make my faith my own, based on my convictions, and not succomb to the pressure to believe some of the theology of my church and christian friends, but I'm thankful for them either way, because they had the true gospel.

We have the opportunity to worship Christ, know more about Him, but yes, we decide to waste it on something stupid.

To be clear, I am not here to bash the church, or make fun of it. Just yesterday I talked with a house church leader, what is the cure for apathy in the church? How do we encourage people to have a burden for the lost and ministry? Do we send them to seminary, or is there something we can do? My advice is to make the church precious, if you are a member, you have to commit to ministry, anyone can be useful. You can't just come every Sunday and do nothing. Make yourself useful. Maybe write a letter to an American or European Christian, pen pal, get together with other friends to pray, visit someone every week. If not, then the pastor has to ask why not? And usually that is where sin is exposed. And if a person does not want to deal with their sin, I would not invite them to church. Church is precious. Word of God is precious.

I guess I mean that is the current stereotype of them (not that it's a wrong one) . In my life I only had Mormons and J.W ever visit my house, to give out tracks and invite me to their church. I have not seen anything close to this, besides myself doing it. At the airport, you can the entire middle east take out their carpets and pray during the wait times. And not just a simple prayer, but maybe about 10 mintutes+. I have only seen the Chinese and the African charismatics pray like that. Too bad those charismatics say the name of Jesus like 60 times when they pray, and many are not saved. And the traditional Jewish people, liberal or conservative, how many do you know who are not circumcised? How many do not have a bar mitzvah? Not very many, if none at all.

Now, what is a stereotype for a protestant church? Bible thumping, ok, is that a majority of your church or the minority?
I hope it is the majority. But it goes back to my point, the reality looks very bleak.

And why should we not refer to Protestants as a legit Christian church? Does your church not consider itself Protestant? Even most non-denom churches, would say they are!!

Many unbelievers are more commited to their faith than protestants. Muslims pray everyday, Mormons go door to door, Jewish people are known for raising children correctly, teaching them right from wrong and make them remember traditions. Can we say the same about the protestant church? I hope so. But the reality is bleak

God has filled his world with things suggestive of himself, that is it is a constant reminder to people that this is God's world. These unbelievers see a little of the light, and respond and God answers. Nobody becomes a believer in a single moment, God has to draw them in, usually by an answer to their prayer, little by little. But clearly, biblically as shown in my post below, he does answer the prayers of unbelievers. I does not matter how I feel about God blessing undeserving unbelievers who later never believe in Him, what matters is that the Bible says it's true and it does happen.

I believe God does answer prayers of unbelievers:

Here are some passages dealing with prayer by an unbeliever:

The people of Nineveh prayed that Nineveh might be spared (Jonah 3:5-10). God answered this prayer and did not destroy the city of Nineveh as He had threatened.

Hagar asked God to protect her son Ishmael (Genesis 21:14-19). God not only protected Ishmael, God blessed him exceedingly.

In 1 Kings 21:17-29, especially verses 27-29, Ahab fasts and mourns over Elijah's prophecy concerning his posterity. God responds by not bringing about the calamity in Ahab's time.

The Gentile woman from the Tyre and Sidon area prayed that Jesus would deliver her daughter from a demon (Mark 7:24-30). Jesus cast the demon out of the woman’s daughter.

Cornelius, the Roman centurion in Acts 10, had the apostle Peter sent to him in response to Cornelius being a righteous man. Acts 10:2 tells us that Cornelius “prayed to God regularly.”

Experience is here to show the reality. What you think the church is, can only be validated by experience.

How can we make the Bible practical, if we don't have experience?
Apostle Paul told timothy:
And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless.
1 Timothy 3:10 ESV

And in my experience, Christians are rascists, I have not felt welcome in any church. If there is a criteria for the church, I have not met it. The western church is too busy on facebook, the eastern church is too terrified, the african church is too busy entertaining false prophets, mission organizations? Can't even pray for me, need to join them first. God had to give me a love for His church, and I had to learn to forgive.

It's not a "shtick" Allie, many pastors are not qualified for this, what are the qualifications for pastors anymore? It seems anyone whose Bible study becomes large enough can qualify to be a pastor. Have you ever been to university campus' before? Join any of their Christian groups and find any leader who is qualified to give sound advice. Or start in your own church, you already showed us how much you care about this topic, by calling everyone ignorant. They might be ignorant, but when you have 2 kids, husband is married to a muslm, debt and no income, that is the last thing you tell these people.

Adapting and evolving are different things.

They mention mixing with other species, how is breeding with another mosquito evolution? At the end of the day, all you will ever have is another mosquito, genetically stronger or weaker, but not as a result of Darvins evolution.

They need to show proof that a mosquito has potential to evolve into something other than another mosquito.

Yes, there are many testimonies from various different backgrounds, but God can still use them to save. I became a believer because I believed in Jesus, and that was all I knew, the name Jesus. Another friend became a believer because she liked a Christian boy. Under normal circumstances those testimonies would fail, but God did not let them fail.

It's like these churches are lacking wisdom. Sometimes spiritually the safest place to be is in the danger zone. And the safest place to be often offers more spiritual danger, from apathy, lack of courage, no strong men, no sacrifice. I believe america had a real strong christian presence during the first 2 world wars. It was during the time of peace, that a generation of believers lost all discernment.
