May I humbly suggest that there are far more (I hate to use the word) "preachers" who are a far great embarresment to our Savior with their cowardly silence than those who express their _________ whatever publically
BTW the open air preacher's text was Psalm 2
Brother Saint John UK Been busy here, good to read your posts It would be such a blessing to be able to speak face to face ...... maybe Skype sometime?

Whoa! It seems there be a little tiny bit of difference between roady types, using their freedom of speach, looking to pick a fight with the practitioners of ]]The Religion of Peace and Westboro Hyper-Calvinists beating up on the innocent.
A local pastor (friend) sent me the following link to an article that exposes the abuse of the Pro-Life Movement to seduce people away from the Gospel and ulitmate lead them into Catholicism, meaning a Roman Catholic world view/mindset NOT a Biblical one
(This was hard to put into words)
40 Days For Life Stinks (in my words here because it opposes the preaching of the Gospel)
BTW the pro-Cathoic Sidewalk Advocates for Life Training I am NOT attending today is being taught by the man heading up the local 40 Days for Life and promotes a do not preach, avoid, a preaching of the Gospel ideology
and if you haven't read it my response to the Baptist who invited me was:
GSTexas wrote: Who said these people were christians? I have no problem with standing against Islam, but the cartoon mockery is just childish and not the way to go about it.
GSTexas Let me plead with you They don't have to be Christians to see there is something horribly amiss with Islam and its violent hypocisy (its pedophile false prophet too)
So what if some of the cartoons are childish, or worse, throw them away and don't use them. BUT I have to think many are not and can be like a good political cartoon and expose how ridiculous the false religion of a a false prophet with a false god and false scriptures truly is
Imho Muslims would do much better if they felt a real shame for believing devils diguised as holy angels/messangers, and doing evil in the name of their false God
Proverbs 26:4,5 4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Or you will also be like him. 5 Answer a fool as his folly deserves, That he not be wise in his own eyes.

Thanks for clearing that up I have much learning and growing to do in all this and what I am concerned about is that the baby of free speech, the courage to confront evil and preach the gospel gets thrown out under the bus by the misguided cowards and/or naive deluded pollyannas (A Disney land answer to Edward's "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God") in our midst
an example of the overblown naive mindset of professing Christians I am against

S.Taylor Jesus deliberately healed on the Sabbath Something He knew would be in the face of the Pharisees and offend/provoke them
Seems He called them names too like, Vipers and Hypocrites
I suggest we need to humble ourselves and learn from Him His thoughts and the why's of what He did, why He choose to do it in that way and seek His wisom in standing for the Truth (part of which involves a real exercise of free speech against tyranny) and be prepared that some professing Christians might get upset with us for daring to do so (what God teaches us and convicts us and leads us to do by His Spirit)

Much to learn in all this is an understatement Still I believe it is safe to say that cowardly silence, corrupting/defiling compromises, putting our heads in the sand hoping the bad man won't get us if we hide skillfully enought and a sell out appeasement to evil will not work
Worse than Muslims might be the enemies of the Cross in our own churches who denigrate/malign sound doctrine, the prayer meeting and the public preaching/witnessing of the Gospel

"Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth'. Psalm 60:4 Keep running the race
Against ecumenism Let me be clear here I do not believe I would have been able to come withing miles of what I was able to put into words apart from the praying of God's people
It is a wonderful humbling thing to be part of the family of God and a great encouragement to me that I have brothers and sisters who love Catholic people and "hurt" to see them and so many others who are every bit as lost saved as well.
One who cares wrote: Michael, A PDF that can be downloaded that you might find most informative and helpful: 'More Than These' A History of how the Pro-Life Movement Has Advanced the Cause of the RCC. The sad fact is from its earliest beginnining the pro-life movement has been rife with ungodly ecumenism. Will be praying.
OneWhoCares First thank you so much for praying I have saved a copy of the PDF
To me it is utterly heartbreaking to see the the Pro-life issue/cause and also a real caring for the real legitimate needs of the poor abused to seduce people away from Jesus Christ, from the Truth of the Word of God, to a religion that is powerless to save them from sin, to cleanse them from the guilt of sin and the holy judgment of God on guilty sinners who not only do not know the True Gospel of Christ because they've actually suppressed it and opposes it in their offical teachings (No wonder they don't want the Gospel preached, nor Scriptures held up at the local abortion clinic)
A matter that is kind of like Solomon, who genuinely knew the LORD but loved foreign women he married (joined with) more and they turned his heart away from the LORD, with terrible consequences not just to himself but people of God he was supposed to lead

Thanks for praying
First let me say thank you once again for everyone praying for the cause of the Truth of Jesus Christ against the pro-antichrist ecumenism of Francis I in all its disgusies
I have just uploaded an edoc, a brief letter I hope to deliver withing the next few hours to one of our local pro-life Baptists, you can read it here:
To my genuinely born again God-fearing brothers and sisters in Christ, this news report strikes so close to home in my life that I want to ask prayer for my "circumstances" and please do remember in your praying others who are seeking to stand for the Truth against Catholic Ecumenism
Where I live the local crisis pregnancy center and its board of directors is and has been corrupted with Catholic ecumenism to the point, in my words/observation they don't want the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly presented nor disunity/separation with/from Catholics and their false gospel and teachings
I "feel" I need to take a stand, the right stand, a stand in which I and others too need the wisdom of God and the Power, the Love and leading of the Spirit, for the Truth of the Gospel against the "evangelical leadership" that is, in my words again, betraying Christ, deceiving and misleading people away from Him to be in unity with Catholicism
Presently I am seeking to deal with some people who profess to be born again Christians, former RCs if I heard them right, who say they are not ecumenical, that they are against Catholicism, who nevertheless are, in my words, giving themselves over to pro-life training that is seeped in/unified with Catholic ecumenism
s c wrote: Why do RCs have a false image of Christ on their cross?
s c An excellent and thoroughly heartbreaking question to honestly and humbly ask.
Because the second of the 10 Commandments condemns idolatry as a sin of those who hate God (I hope you appreciate the little jesus they have on their crucifixes is an sorrowful example of this serious violation of the 10 Commandments, and worse a denial of the sufficiency of the completed work of Christ, therefore the Mass, and crucifixes)
The short answer is that the RCC does not honor the Bible as being the Law of God, which God rightfully expects to be believed and obeyed, maybe at their convienance or to their own benifit when it suits them, treating the Holy Word of God, the Bible a merely an inspirational book of good suggestions to be adulterated with RC Tradition and the (false) teachings of their magisterium, whenever they feel like it
And Catholics from their clergy to their pews have seared or so calloused their conscience they see nothing wrong with relisting the 10 Commandemnts, erasing idolatry and making two separate commandments against coveting, after all sin isn't that bad, a priest, the rc mary or purgatory(which doesn't even exist) can fix it for Catholics
John Y Since this is not a Catholic site NOR an ecumenical site that kisses up to the RCC You are going to be always disappoined that born again Bible believing Christians here do not tickle your ears with words that would be so false to us of how you are somekind of wonderful Christian in the religion, a blend of Catholicism, sinner's prayer, and choosing to do what you want you are practising
So as kindly as I might quit, cease with your RC stuff and if you want to really correspond on these news threads try something different read your Bible, learn what it says (believe it and obey it would be very good too)
and then you can post what it says
for example about salvation Did you know the Gospel is something to be obeyed? Look it up Did you know sinners have a great need to obey Jesus Christ?
Hebrews 5:8,9 kjv 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM;
I believe it is safe to say my brothers and sisters in Christ know there is a night and day change in loyalty and alligiance in saving faith, far different from an empty lip service of 'Lord, Lord'
John Y Again this is not a Catholic site And you are so entitled to your opinions about the Catholic Mass and the Pope
Let me simply ask you to kindly keep those things/opinions about Catholicism to yourself, as that would be between you and the RCC, unless you bring them up with genuine born again Bible believing Christians here on SermonAudio, in which case you would be provoking a response from those who would witness the TRUTH to you that you might make your profession of faith sure

Go to any junior or high public school and you'll probably see it happening in the halls between classes. I graduated in the 70's and it was happening in my school. I HATE the media. They are nothing but a bunch of wicked, bloodthirsty gossips who love nothing more than to dig up garbage from someone's past and ruin their lives. It's one thing if the sin is still going on, but this happened 12 years ago when he was a kid and maybe before he was even saved. Don't we all have sins in our past we wish we'd never committed and have been forgiven for by our Savior Jesus Christ?
Diane Alabama I like your post, especially the "I hate the media part"
Question: Is it okay for us to love the Duggars warts and all, and pray for them and thank God despite whatever their failures, imperfections and sins, they have a heart after God
What a wonderful God and Savior we have. He commands us both to love Him and to love our neighbors, especially if they are part of His family
Question: In the day of judgment will we be guilty of loving imperfect people or just the perfect ones?
John Yurich USA wrote: Francis has to go as he is totally off of his rocker. John Y This is not a Catholic site. It doesn't matter to us if he is 'off his rocker or not' whether he stays or goes that is a Catholic matter for Catholics to decide
Now where he crosses the line to involve himself in US politics and foreign policy that would be another matter, as would any involvement with churches to promotes his false teachings and religion ... by the way that is why many of us don't give you a pass when you do something similar
Personally I would love to see Francis I become obnoxious to GOP Cahtolics and drive them out of his false church into the welcoming arms of genuinely born again believers who would witness the TRUTH of Jesus Christ to them that they might be genuinely saved, follow the Lord in Believers Baptism and by the Grace of God find a faithful Bible Believing church to be part of
