That is bizarre. We read to our children most every night during family worship to instruct in the ways of God, Scripture, and theological education. All men are able to do so with their children provided they can read.
Amazing article. Mormonism is included by the author with "professing Christianity"?
I struggled for most of the article to see how the author defined fundamentalism, but in defining evangelicalism I think I got it...fundamentalism is just a byword for biblical Christianity.
H.L. Oliver: is that quote from the Free Presbyterian Magazine?
As a comment to this article, perhaps there is truth in it. We know persecutions are rampant in Pakistan and growing. But this Shoebat fellow, research it. I do not understand the spirit of these men which seems so opposite to the spirit of Christ. Also, it is no surprise coming out of WND. Their honesty in journalism is lacking many times.
Maybe he is right, the Lord knows. I want to be ready. Ready for the Lord's coming. Ready for persecutions should they come. Ready to live truly and holy before God in times of peace and times of trouble. O Lord, help me work while there is freedoms to do so. Give your people grace and help to stand in the evil day.
Praise the Lord. I think this research underscores the importance of the means by which God ordinarily works to bless and bring salvation to His elect. I would imagine that those who still yet left the faith of Christ likely remained upright citizens. But woe to those who are given so much light and still reject the Gospel.
In the article she is quoted as saying she is not a Christian. The article also states she left her "evangelical" faith. Her lifestyle is evidence that she is not a true Christian, and so from her own confession she now denies Christ.
Great article. I am glad to see a man of God taking a stand for the Christian Sabbath and for exhorting Christians to examine their hears with regard to worldly entertainment.
