“ Great Gospel preaching!!! ”
All the Old Testament is external.. shadows and types, circumcision o of the flesh and striving to obey the letter.. BUT NOW in Christ, believers have been justified, no longer in bondage under sin under the letter, Now under Christ’s Blood Covenant , in Him we have the power of The Spirit of All Hods Law, a Spiritual circumcision!

Oh! The idolatry, unbelief, and folly of the fear of man! How much rather ought we to fear God! "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe." (Proverbs 29:25)

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for another exceptional Bible Study and Worship Service. Thank you for teaching us that God's people will be vindicated because Christ was vindicated...That everything Adam failed Christ accomplished...That we do nothing alone, we do everything with God...That we need to be satisfied with God's goodness...That we profit by all things. For warning us that the mission of the wicked is to corrupt the church. For encouraging us to steward everything we have, to focus our energies-everything we have and are-to the building of the Kingdom. And the Sermon also was excellent. I can't believe that any other church feeds it's members so richly. Our God help us all to do as beautifully as we are taught.

what a blessing this sermon was to me. What God has been showing me He has been doing in my life without me being able to articulate it was described perfectly here. When we question why God takes away and when we are confused and things that were once easy are no longer so.

BUT NOW, in Christ believers are the priesthood in His Blood Covenant and the Law is written on their hearts ... why then do men insist on going back to the types and shadows, OT substitutes instead of New Covenant Reality He is the Sum and Substance of All Sa please publish all comments ... censorship of Gods Truth never fairs well!

Good sermon but have to diiagree with your exception clause the only cause is fornicatoon and not ADULTERY like most congregations teach all bibles except Geneva Bible uses the word Fornication which according to the English dictionary is sexual activity between single persons. and Paul does not permit the beliveing Hisband or wife to remarry if their spouse departs he uses the word bondage (slavery ) they are free from their duties towards this person and are free to worship the Lord freely without conflict from the unbeliever . This is confirmed in 1 Cor 7 :39 A wife is bound while her husband lives only death only break that bond and not Adultery

“ Thank you ”
Wow! I've been blessed by your preaching so much. I love how you try to point the congregation to our Savior Jesus every time you talk about this topic on sex. And also learned so much from the text of Ephesians and Revelation that as Christians, our marriage life is a shadow of the things to come; even the marriage of the Lamb! Great sermon. Christ-centered, Bible-centered. All glory to God who is the author of our faith! By the way, I am listening to this in 2019.

Sermon:
Samson's Deliverances
Rev. William McCrea
1
comment
“ What is meant by 'deliverances'? ”
The word 'deliverances' in the sermon title is unclear to me. I didn't hear anything to the effect that God was delivering Samson from temptation, or from his enemies in this specific sermon. Does the word 'deliverances' then mean that God was delivering Samson over to his corruption, as in Romans 1? But the context of Romans 1 doesn't speak of sinning saints, but of the ungodly. The Westminster Confession, in the section on Providence, does have the following words: "The most wise, righteous, and gracious God does oftentimes leave, for a season, his own children to manifold temptations, and the corruption of their own hearts, to chastise them for their former sins, or to discover unto them the hidden strength of corruption and deceitfulness of their hearts, that they may be humbled; and, to raise them to a more close and constant dependence for their support upon Himself, and to make them more watchful against all future occasions of sin, and for sundry other just and holy ends." When God leaves His children to the corruption of their own hearts, is God 'delivering' them over to it? To me, leaving to and delivering over to are not synonymous terms. So, what did you mean by the word 'deliverances" in the sermon title?

“ Great Sermon! ”
Suffering tribulation today, tomorrow or in the past has absolutely nothing to do with the timing of the Rapture. Men will wax worse and worse and Christians will suffer more as the Day of Christ approaches. 2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall WAX WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived. The pre-tribulation rapture is not an escapist teaching. It simply points out that Daniel's 70th Week is not for the Church; it is for the nation of Israel. Sorry you were so offended by the title but the message speaks the truth in love. A "hoax" is a malicious deception. Getting people's eyes off of the coming of Jesus to looking for the Mark, the Beast, the anti-Christ, 144,000, the Two Witnesses is wicked, deceptive and a hoax. Sorry, but I am sure that all the men you mentioned would consider what I have said as a hoax too.
