NWO Is that a biblical term?

*No. "Look both ways before you cross the street." Is this in the bible? Because it is not a biblical term, are you saying it doesn't exist? Does tyranny exist anywhere? Does the Bank of England exist?

God is in control of the world's events, not Satan.

*This is a COWARD's way of saying, "don't study. anything you need to know, god will tell you."

Satan is the Prince and the Power of the air.

Does it occur to you that if Jesus is building His temple made without hands, SO IS SATAN!

Electronic media can be used to propagate anything quickly and efficiently. The problem with the medium is that it is geared to ADVERTISING and contrived and manipulated controversy. Truth is secondary to ENTERTAINMENT.

Are right-wingers (Rush Limpbutt, Mike Savaged, Sean Hand-in-teat) any less biased?

You better watch out,
You better not pray,
You better not pout,
I'm trying to say,

A-thee-ists are coming to FROWN.

They're making a plea,
and posting a sign,
They're laughing with glee
'cuz they evolved from brine.

A-thee-ists are coming to FROWN.

They see you when your happy,
They know when you have joy,
They know that Jesus truly loves,
And that love they simply HATE.

OH! (Repeat verse 1)

ps: fuzzy's cd's are available for 9.99...hurry before this joke becomes dull! he he he

John D quote: "... I thought God hated rebellion."

- - -

* Yes or No, is there such a thing as individual rights?

If your answer is no, I got nothing else to say.

* If your answer is yes, where do these rights come from:
A) Government (positivism)
B) God

If your answer is A, I got nothing else to say.

If your answer is B, then government--which is made up of individuals and NOT HUMAN GODS, cannot and shall not infringe on another persons privacy and personhood.

In civilization, there are rules to follow and if government does not follow its own rules, IT IS NOT CIVIL and Romans 13 does NOT APPLY!

If you really believe that no one is to rebel, then everyone in Russia or China or North Korea, etc., deserve to die as pagans and only a fool would dare try to bring the gospel to the lost.

Why believe in a god? Because Obama is coming to save us. NOT!

from article: The group defines humanism as "a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism, affirms our responsibility to lead ethical lives of value to self and humanity."
- - -

Who decides what is ethical? What is a 'life of value?' Can humanity exist with differences of opinion? When differences do exist, is there an obligation to find compromises?

Not sure of the exact years, but Albania went 'atheist' (1967?) for several years and what are they now?

- - -

Someone should challenge this group's banner with a sign that reads, "Why believe you evolved from apes?"

It used to be that school hours were from 8:00am to 2:00pm. I didn't realize that those hours are now "happy hours."

John quote: "...world unity as a mark of ultimate progress..."
- - -

For a quick historical survey, I would recommend Lewis Mumford's, The Story of Utopia. It wasn't just Thomas More who had the 'form' of perfect civilization.

Mere philosophy (human reasoning) is unable to create an obedient productive citizenry and that a 'civil religion' (today it is new-age pantheism honoring mother earth for the dumb sheep and Luciferianism for the elite) is necessary to instill 'values' in a people.

Government need not build a temple and require worship...most people already dedicate their lives to: the mall, sports, TV, internet gossip, and the most important activity seen worldwide, the desire or the actual purchase of CRAP.

To me, 'government' refers to ideology as reflected AND implemented into policy and LAW.

Governance refers to the active (forceful) 'guiding hand' by those who govern over ALL of its subjects.

It's all about context and perspective.

Take this as you see fit:

At the local public library where I live, as opposed to the MAIN public library in another county, there are over 100 holds on Ben Stein's, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, on I think 4 DVD's and I think the library is going to purchase more.

Along with Kent Hovind's debates on google video, perhaps more and more people are coming around. Perhaps as far as this issue is concerned, maybe we have "passed" the "tipping point" (Malcolm Gladwell) and evolution may be revealed as the fairy tale it really is--one with a diabolical purpose and no moral lesson.

from article: They say "abomination" is too strong of a word, while others flat out call the pastor a racist who defies the Bible's message.

- - -

See. When Warmonger Bush is in office and one opposes him, that one is a terrorist.

When another kind of warmonger, Obama, takes office, one that opposes his policies would be a racist--a hate crime.

Question: Where was this so-called pastor and his 'sign' when Bush ILLEGALLY brought war to Iraq and has caused the death of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis? And BTW, BOTH Obama and MCCAIN supported the war and the bailouts--the transfer of wealth.

Neil quote: "Rome was a manifestly dissolute, idolatrous, superstitious, militaristic, babykilling, martyring welfare state."

What is your hard evidence? If your answer involves any kind of research, (links, articles, books, etc., that I should read or movies and documentaries I could watch) then your answer can be applied to the question you asked me on the other thread.

But Neil and Rogerant:

Expedience, it seems, replaces all value and meaning to terms like legitimate and illegitimate.

"No one is illegitimate just because of extraordinary circumstances like these, so long as due process was followed."

Isn't this the main sticking point? Was due process followed to the END? I believe it was not. As far as Gore winning, I guess that is a non-issue since counting votes honestly is secondary to desired results.

"It is after all, a representative republic isn't it?"

And the definition keeps changing...

There is some KKK words going around and it is not coming from the hate group!

"Only a blind and stupid people would elect a morally bankrupt man like Obama !!! "

How is McCain any better?

Challenge me on the facts. What part of my statement that Bush became president due to a ruling by the supreme court in 2000, incorrect?

"Obama will attempt to destroy FREEDOM as "We" know IT !!! "

Are you some kind of guru that you know this for a fact? Bush gave us the Patriot Act. Is this not an example of a 'destroyed freedom.' You said earlier that,""We The People" will get what they ask for ... a leader can be a blessing or a curse..."

So is Obama a curse (deserved) or a blessing (disguised)?

Oh...but betoken...

Romans 13...Romans 13...Romans 13

Submit to the State!

If you are shorted on your paycheck, don't grumble to your boss or HR, accept that god is in control!

If you get the wrong order at a restaurant, don't make a hassle, just eat what's given to you because god is in control!

If you are arrested without being charged and are taken away, don't invoke any rights, accept that god is in control!

If food prices go even higher, currency is devalued, governments runs secret wars and are in collusion with private banks, don't try to expose them, accept that god is in control!

Bill Moyers is a traitor for exposing Secret Government in his documentary on google.video.

If a preacher wants to try dancing and more dramas; or if he is obese; or if he says sodomites are decent people who god loves; or if he buys a new car or a house while everyone else is struggling, SUBMIT to him and remember he is anointed and that god is in control!

Lukewarmness isn't as bad--especially if you read non KJ bibles! Forget about preaching to the lost and exposing ALL types of oppression. Protect you and your family until the rapture!

Wish I were back in Cincy for this. I miss walking on the Purple People Bridge.

This mock trial sounds like Warren Leroi Johns', Ride to Glory.

Thanks Hidemi. The banner does look a little too 'perfect.'

But I am hoping a reader of SA who lives in Chicago can confirm it.

Obama's hometown! I thought he said he was a christian??

Romans 13 again...

EVERY SOUL includes the cops!

Here in the US, the higher power is the rule of law spelled out in the US CONSTITUTION and enforced by the PEOPLE--NOT the elect FEW. PERIOD!

"By good people I just meant that most of them are sencere about wanting to do their job professionaly."

PROVE IT!

Miguel,

Thank you for responding. Yes, I stand by my comment and I think you misunderstood me.

Your relatives who are "good" cops may be an accurate description. But don't say because of this ALL cops deserve unbiased respect. A Christian may not be a person who is paranoid, but it ALSO means a person who is not naive.

"...good people..." DEFINE please before I comment.
- - -
Luke 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
- - - -

The only way a Christian can manifest this promise in his life is to LEARN the characteristics of serpents and scorpions. One should NEVER tell another: just pray and because God is in control, you don't have to open your eyes WIDE OPEN and understand what is in man's heart.

I think it was George Simmel who said: "One need not be Caesar in order to understand Caesar." BUT...this does NOT relieve us of our obligation to KNOW that SIN EXISTS in our lives and in others. Otherwise, the GOSPEL would mean nothing!

quote from article: "...I wish we didn't have games like that. Apparently they cannot, under the First Amendment I suppose, be outlawed." [Leslie Crocker Snyder, said]

- - -

Where was she and her communist ilk when war games like Call of Duty were put out?

Is she suggesting that the first amendment be re-written? First of all, the market-place is BOTH the NEED-CREATOR AND THE NEED-SATISFIER. Second of all, banning the sale of this game only encourages boot-leg copies and online play. Thirdly, only crooked-cops should have something to worry about.

Don't you just hate it when some idiot elevates a particular profession or group and justifies the morality of its individual members simply because they are part of that group? You know...like useful idiots who say the Republicans are better than the Democrats, or vice-versa; or that Lawyers are decent people who work hard; etc.
