What if their house was on fire? what would we do then? This matter of Heaven verse Hell is much worse and we do absolutely nothing! WoW! a very confuded Christian! If Christianity were real, and I believe it is, please, somebody, tell me what you all are doing? Pastors have their comfortable pulpits, parsonages, lots of food, etc. Someone, please tell me where the true Bible sharing Christians are!! Is Harold Camping right?
You speak some truth, but What if their house was on fire? what would we do then? Call the Bible answer man?
a very confuded Christian Put down the bottle, and place your hands in the air.
Someone, please tell me where the true Bible sharing Christians are At your service
Sometimes I think we Christians would rather leave some tracts And thats fine, depending on where your at in your walk, good way to start. Even Moses had issues at first, chill

You are frustrated Of course you know where this one needs to be filed

Thanks But I write the same things the same way in these matters. I think the Bible says be of one mind. You can't be a christian, a doctor, a weapon, and a Pastor. That makes you a Legion, for you are many.

Thats good, I really like it
Did you hear the one about the new Pastor, He looked just like Connway Twitty.
If you know Conway, I'll tell you the rest of the story.
Hi Pastor Only God knows your heart Well, I do not introduce myself as the Weapon of Mass Instruction And thats the man I would exchange comments with, see thats who I knew.
Most of the time, it was your presentation more then what you were presenting. Therefor when we would disagree, I would explain my side and you would change the subject or not reply
Was that I do not normally use a debating style when I am on the pulpit Did my comments put you back "on the pulpit"
As a Pastor, do you find my comments Biblical and in context? If so, do you agree with them?
to act smarter than they There is a passage in the Bible about the wise and the foolish, the meek and the strong , kinda role reversal, is that it The passage goes something like, not many wise "are choosen" Do you agree Pastor, I know God is way more then I can comprehend, the best I can do with election, predes. and stuff is to see it is written to show God is all knowing (PERIOD) The Bible also is clear that time means very little, if not nothing at all to Him, just another thing He created Did He know me before I was born Did He know if I would end up in hell Did He create me Did He decide before me, Pastor
Pastor, your doing it again(not reply) tell me, did you see this

Walt wrote: Terry wrote: "How do you make these leaps I hope you have a net. I got to go to the store," Well, is there any warrant to go shopping at the store on the Sabbath beyond doing so out of necessity or out of mercy? Did you ever hear of the Sabbath laws back when the Puritans and Pilgrims ran the early colonial America, and into many parts of the country? I'm sure Florida had some Sabbath laws...why would you not want to stay faithful to keeping the commands of God? Perhaps because you are an Antinomian or Libertine, and the law does not apply to you under Grace!? And you wonder why I jumped to the conclusion...it was not just your words Terry, but now I can see it by your works as well. That is how church discipline is applied in the real world. Enjoy the rest of your Lord's Day Sabbath, and remember to keep it Holy!
Walt I say this in love Go sacrifice a cow
Someone in the Bible said Depart from me I never knew you
Walt You don't seem to know Him either
Oh, I needed coffee for in the morning I can be a bear without it. Bye I forgot Thanks for the advise I asked you for Nevermind, all you gave was condemnation Standards Someone in the Bible said, sorta like for how you judge, you will be judged
Walt wrote: Terry, Interesting comment you made below, "Im not under the law". I did not know you were a Libertine and Antinomian. James is addressing Libertines and Antinomians who have not actually trusted in Christ as their righteousness, but who only have made such a profession. And how does James know that it is only a mere profession and not the actual possession of a saving faith? There is no evidence of a saving faith in loving obedience to Christ and His law...." It is interesting always to see one who is "born again" but reject that they have to sanctify and mortify the flesh. Walt wrote: Terry, Before you remarry, please check into whether your last 3 divorces were biblical I'm not trying to be critical of you, but only share with you my ideas
Hi Walt My marriages themselves were unbiblical, so Im pretty sure the divorces were also.
I have had this discussion with others and I would like to hear what you think.
You say God recognizes the marriage covenant even between non-Christians Does He? I can't see that in the Bible,
1. I see if one partner is "born again" and the other isn't then as long as the unsaved does not prohibit the christian from being a christian there is no grounds for divorce, and I may be mistaken but the unsaved spouce will find grace from God (been awhile, maybe wrong on that) 2. I also see that a "born again" person shall not be unequally yoked. A christian will not marry a non christian, the way I see that, if a christian does marry a non christian they were only a christian in name only (unsaved) to begin with. On a lighter note What I do see is ALL my sins are now forgiven. Can I become a Pastor, no Not the same
Walt I've been wrong before, (pretty obvious) So if you feel Im wrong now please, tell me.
kenny wrote: Saint Terry Evans: Haven't you said here previously that you have been married three times? Why in the world are you looking for a wife?
Sometimes I wonder that myself
I liked being married, just didn't know that its God who must do the joining.
Before it was all flesh, and although I still have some to die to, a wife is truly a blessing from God.
Now people seem to open up and want to tell me there problems, I guess its because I always talk about Jesus with most that I know or meet.
The number 1 thing is the way they are treated by their spouse, the sacrifice they make without any gratitude or the other not living up to there expectations. When you compare the life style they live against the Word of God its easy to see the true problem, they, like me was married by the state, not joined by God. Are you married Kenny, then love her as Christ loves His church, expecting nothing in return and giving all you have, if your single, sorry. It can be something really special, if Gods in it, just like anything else
Jim Lincoln wrote: One of the saints, Terry Evans, ah, but I gave you a good sermon and booklet on the roles of men and women in marriage. As a preview, 1Timothy 2 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. Titus 2 3 that the elder women in like manner be in deportment as becoming those who have to say to sacred things, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is right; 4 that they may admonish the young women to........
OK, Don't have any problems with what you write. I love to read Gods Word, thats my point to you.
Jim Do you think Im a woman? Or my comment on looking for a wife?
Know of a christian girl looking for a husband, thats some info I could use.
What did you think of the sermon?
