That's only a 16% coverage of population. In the US and most western countries, that amount is 70%(that's the US coverage amount) or higher. Also, a lot of spam and hackers come from China, I guess they are bored with the 3 websites they are allowed to visit due to the Great Firewall of China. So this figure is not impressive, when looking at statistics like this, you must view the percentage ratios, not the sheer amount of people. China contains 1 billion more people than the US, so it's no surprise that many people have internet there.

Just reading through this article you can almost tell it was formulated to make fun of the church.

It seems to me about half or more of the cases documented in the article are overbearing pastors with iron fists, and are using said fists in the wrong manner on the wrong issues....

Although there are some valid things in the article. Also, it seems in the Caskey case it might go deeper than the article allows you to see, judgeing by Mrs Casykey's closing statements, her reapeat returning to the church for arrest, and her allies standing outside doing a protest, it leads me to believe she and her followers are very, very rebelious people.

To answer one of your questions, no I don't consider quoting God's word a hateful act, and that's not the act I was referring to. I was reffering to comments like this:

ahhh the babylonian paganist returns[/QUOTE]

Thanks for showing me how anti-alcoholic drink people get around that miracle. They simply undercut it and say that Jesus really did something else that fits in with their view system.

Wine is wine; And all wine is alcoholic. By saying it wasn't alcholic, you are saying it's not wine but something else, and thus saying the Bible lies.

That's my final comment on this, since you won't listen anyway, and some of you are outright ignoring what I've said.

Your question is not valid, as per RC's are not muslims but a denomination of Christianity, no matter how their top man acts. There are many people in protestant circles that are as bad or worse than the Pope. Does that make every baptist, for instance, a heretic? No.

You know, you guys are great examples of showing the truth in love. (not)

I would suggest you people stay away from GG and the other catholics here, until you can argue like Christians.

The brash, proud, arrogant and generally holier-than-thou way you argue with RC's here is sickening. Would you witness to somebody you just ran across on the street in that way? Hopefully the answer to that is no.

The way to win people is not through calling them names and generally cutting them down like you do.

Consider that next time you go hating on catholics.

Weapon of Mass Instruction wrote:
She must think the WCF is the Word of God.
In my experience, most people who like the WCF quote it like they do.

I recall once a debate a relative had with a presbyterian pastor. The paster would only keep quoting WCF verse after WCF verse, never the bible (even though my relative kept asking for biblical support for the pastors point, he never got any). Needless to say, we left that church. You might be surrised, but that scenario is extremly common in the PCA division of presbyterians (whoa re usually calvinists, by the way).

I was going to expound on something about wine and the water-to-wine miracle to lyn but the character limit prevents me. So I'll just have to make a highly abbreviated one:

lyn, suffice it to say that Jesus did indeed turn that water into alcholic real wine, otherwise the host would not have raved on it so. Because unfermented wine is just grape juice, and lacks both the taste and sting feeling of wine. And yes we can also assume the people did get drunk off of it, because that's what they did at weddings back then. And when you read John 2 it does indeed reveal intent to drunkeness, the host says so himself:

“Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.”

If your curious of what I mean, it's that they brought the subpar wine out last because the people were so drunk by then they wouldn't have cared what it tasted like. And that's what's significant about Jesus turning the water into excellent wine. Side note: it was miracle wine and did not need time to ferment. It was fully fermented on the spot.

Sorry I couldn't do my full thing, it would have taken 3 full comment boxes and the site's not letting me do it, lol.

The thing about hydrogen cars is to me... if they hit each other going 70mph, are they going to explode in a catyclysmic explosion and take a square mile of countryside with them?

I thought hydrogen was very explosive.

Jim Cody, the Bible has some things to say about women ruling:

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them,
for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.
Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.
My people—infants are their oppressors,
and women rule over them.

Isiah 3:10-12

Yes AVA we know the drill. The good people were protestants and the bad people were catholics. Because we all know that protestants are ALWAYS right in EVERYTHING, and that protestants are the cause of all good in this world, while catholics are behind every minute bad thing that happens, down to the local gas station robbery or us hitting our thumb with a hammer. Because after we hit our thumbs, we noticed that the manufactuer of the hammer was owned by a catholic. And we know he endowed the hammer with satanic energy so it would strike our thumb all along.

If you aven't caught my drift yet, AVA, it's that your disturbing and and exetremly irrational hatred of catholics is not Christian.

But don't worry, I'm sure you will find some way to condem me as a catholic demon, and thus nullify what I said, in your mind at least.

Well Jim you'll be happy to know they were good followers of Bill Gothard, and he's no friend of Catholics drawing from what I've read in his materials.

Think twice and do at least some research before spreading your unchristianlike catholic hatred, thank you.
